| In a modern society where global economic rebalancing and industrial structure readjustment,the world economy has transformed into a development model dominated by a knowledge-based economy.Innovation has also become the primary driving force for development.Innovation activities take the city as the carrier and drive the development of urbanization.Northeast China,as an old industrial base and an important economic sector,is driven by the strategy of “revitalization in the northeast”.It also needs innovation to drive the development of regions and cities and promote the process of urbanization.Taking the period from 2010 to 2015 as the study period,this paper selected 35prefecture-level city-level units(prefecture-level cities,autonomous prefectures)in Northeastern China as the research object,and built up the urban innovation capability and urbanization level by summing up academic achievements and frontiers.The system's evaluation index system uses entropy method and coefficient of variation to measure the comprehensive development level and spatial disparity of urban innovation capability and urbanization,and then uses a coupled coordination model to measure the coordinated development of innovation capability and urbanization in cities in the Northeastern China.The spatial autocorrelation method was used to explore the spatial relationship of the coordination of the two systems,and the obstacle degree model was used to quantitatively calculate the factors that hinder the coordinated development.The results showed that:(1)The overall level of urban innovation capability in Northeast China is low and regional differences are significant.However,during the period of the study,there is an upward trend,which evolves from “large gaps and low levels”to“small gaps and relatively high levels”.In terms of space,the four sub-provincial cities have led the development and formed a distribution pattern along the Harbin-Dalian high-speed rail line and along the coast,which is “high in the Ha-Da area,high in the southwest coast,and low in the east and north inland”.The general level of urbanization in the northeast is not high,the development path is relatively extensive,and the pattern of the coast is higher than that of the inland in space,and in the northeast-southwest direction,the four sub-provincial cities are gradually formed to radiate the surrounding area.(2)Most cities in the Northeast China have experienced a situation in which innovation capability lags behind urbanization.The coupling capability of innovation capability andurbanization in each city is in an antagonistic stage,and the average value of coordination degree is in an out-of-phase stage,but both the benign interaction has improved the coordination year by year and the overall development towards the coordination stage.The spatial disparity in coordination has slightly widened,and differences within the province are the major contributors to the total difference.From the point of view of spatial correlation,the coordination of the two systems only has a spatial correlation in some areas,showing a spatially agglomeration pattern of“high in the southern coastal,low in the northern inland”.(3)The main system that hinders the coupling and coordination of innovation capability and urbanization in Northeast China is urban innovation capability.Economic urbanization factors,corporate innovation factors,and innovation output factors are the main factors that hinder the coordinated development.Based on the current situation of the coordination relationship between innovation capability and urbanization in Northeast China,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions from four perspectives,that is,the status quo of innovation capability construction lags behind urbanization development,development of innovation-driven,and to play a role in innovation,and to promote industrial innovation;Strengthen the central city,radiate the surrounding;maintain the characteristics of the city,develop according to local conditions. |
