Analysis Of Coordination Between Urban Tourism And Urban Development In Wuhan

With the rapid development of tourism in recent years,the rapid growth of tourism economy has contributed to the economy increasingly.And on the strength of its strong interconnected effect,tourism plays a positive role in the other of social and economic sectors,so the status of tourism in the tertiary industry has been more and more important and turns into a strategic pillar in the development of national economy.At the same time,with the continuous improvement of quality of life,tourism has gradually become an effective measure to meet the growing pursuit of a better life.As an important carrier of tourism development,the city is a unique tourist destination,the role of the city has been transformed into the center of economic,political,cultural and tourism activities.The recreational function has been constantly improved in city,the relationship between urban tourism and urban development is becoming more and more closely,and both of them interact and restrict each other.Under the background of the development of comprehensive tourism,the coordinated development of the two system is of great significance to the overall sustainable development of national economy society.This paper introduced the concept of coupling and coordinated development,and constructed the comprehensive evaluation index system of urban tourism and urban development level.The coupling coordination relation was measured and studied by means of entropy weight method and the coupling coordination model synthetically basing on the time series data from 2000 to 2016 in Wuhan.Firstly I analyzed the characteristics and trends of temporal variation,then the influence factors of Wuhan tourism development were analyzed by using the grey correlation analysis,and finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to realize the harmonious relationship between Wuhan tourism and urban development based on the above research.The conclusions of this paper mainly included the following points:(1)From 2000 to 2016,the overall level of tourism development in Wuhan showed a good development trend,which could be divided into three stages:the comprehensive level of tourism development from 2000 to 2003 was low and the development speed was slow;then it entered the growing stage and the tourism development presented the gradual growth from 2004 to 2007;from 2008 to 2016,the level of comprehensive development continued to improving,and the level of tourism development had been significantly improved,showing an accelerated development trend.(2)Since 2000,the comprehensive index of urban development in Wuhan was gradually improved,and the level of urban development was gradually promoted,among which,the comprehensive index of urban development decreased briefly from 2000 to 2002,and the continuous growth trend was maintained among these years,and the level of urban development continued to improving.(3)The measurement results of the coupling relationship between urban tourism and urban development showed that the coupling degree was not high during the studying period,but the coupling effect showed increasing gradually.To a certain extent,it also showed that the relationship between tourism development and urban comprehensive development of Wuhan had been increasing.The coupling degree and the coupling degree were in the same trend,both of them showed a continuous upward trend.The overall development and coordination level between tourism system and urban system presented a trend of gradual and continuous improvement.The coordinated development relationship had undergone seven stages of development:extreme imbalance-severe imbalance-moderate imbalance-mild disorder-near-maladjustment-barely maladjusted-primary coordination,overall the coordination level was low,but over time it showed the trend of continuous improvement,from low-level to high-level development,from misalignment to coordinated optimization direction.And there was still a lot of advancement in the development of the two systems.(4)Through the Grey relational analysis method,I analyzed the influence factors of Wuhan tourism development.The paper concluded that the correlation degree between urban residents' per capita disposable income and city tourism development level was the most important factor affecting the development of urban tourism.At the same time,the correlation degree between the numbers of books per thousand people,the number of physicians per thousand which reflected the level of social development and the development of urban tourism appeared high,which indicated that the level of urban social development had a great effect on tourism.
