Numerous studies show that corporate culture plays an important role in M & A(Merges & Acquisition),and cultural integration is the key element and biggest difficulty in determining M & A success and improving corporate performance.Based on the research of relevant literatures dormestic and abroad,this paper constructs a research model that describes the relationship between the rigidity of corporate culture,the integration of M & A and corporate performance.This study is of some reference for guiding the practice of cultural integration in M & A enterprises,improving the effectiveness of cultural integration and improving the performance level of M & A and the corporate.This paper first reviews the relevant research literature,briefly introduces the general theory of mergers and acquisitions,corporate culture,cultural integration and corporate performance,combs the research progress of corporate culture rigid characteristics,and selects Denison's organizational culture questionnaire as a tool to evaluate the situation of M & A's cultural integration.This dissertation disassembles the rigid character of corporate culture into three levels of individuals and groups.With the four cultural characteristics of participation,consistency,adaptability and mission as the focus,this paper examines the effect of mergers & acquisitions cultural integration and the effect of corporate performance to establish corporate cultural rigidity the overall theoretical model of the impact of mergers and acquisitions culture and put forward the hypothesis that the rigidity of corporate culture has a significant impact on the integration of mergers and acquisitions culture,the integration of M&A culture integration has a significant impact on the corporate performance.This paper takes an empirical research approach to issue electronic questionnaires in the form of the Shanghai area mainly state-owned enterprise employees were investigated.After collecting the data,SPSS23.0 software was used to carry out descriptive statistics analysis and reliability-validity test,and the path coefficient was analyzed by AMOS23.0 software to test the construction of the research.The model fitting degree was analyzed,and finally the corporate culture Hypothesis that rigid character has significant influence on M & A cultural integration and the integration of M&A culture integration has a significant impact on the corporate performance have been proof.At the end of the article,this article puts forward some suggestions on the integration of mergers and acquisitions.Based on the rigid characteristics of corporate culture,mergers and acquisitions enterprises may choose strategies such as cultural compatibility,cultural innovation,cultural evasion,cultural infiltration and cultural occupation in the process of mergers and acquisitions to promote mergers and acquisitions cultural integration.The innovation of this paper lies in introducing the rigid characteristic of corporate culture as an independent variable,studying for the first time the influence of the rigidity of corporate culture on the integration of M & A and analyzing the problems encountered in the integration of M & A in our country Countermeasures taken.
