Research On Economic Disparities Of Rural Areas In Liaoning Province

Since the reform and opening up policy,China has implemented the strategic goal of allowing some areas to get rich first to drive most regions to achieve common prosperity.This has greatly promoted economic development;but at the same time,the difference of regional economies is increasingly significant.And the economic differences in rural areas are the most serious.In response to this situation,Chinese scholars began to study the issue of economic differences in rural areas.However,during the research process,most scholars tend to focus on the entire country,ignoring the differences in the provinces,and viewing them as uniform units.However,the rural regional economic differences exist not only in the country's large region but also in various provinces.The provincial economy is the basic unit that constitutes the national economy.It is also an important hub linking the country with the various urban districts and counties.Therefore,studying the economic differences in the rural areas within the province has important guiding significance for the provinces to formulate the overall plan.Liaoning Province is located in the south of China's northeastern region and is one of the major grain producing areas in China.Understanding the regional economic disparities in Liaoning Province is conducive to the coordinated economic development of Liaoning Province and even the entire Northeast Region.This article first analyzes the development status of rural economic disparities in Liaoning Province.The three economic indicators were selected to reflect the rural economic conditions in various regions of the country.And summarized the basic conditions of rural economic development in Liaoning Province from six aspects: climate environment,water resources,and land resources.Next,the 14 prefecture-level cities in Liaoning Province are treated as geographical units.Single-indicator analysis is used to carry out research.In terms of rural production levels and rural living standards,the absolute and relative differences between regions were measured using extreme values,standard deviation,and coefficient of variation.The results of the study show that the gap between the rural economic level and the living standards of farmers in various regions in Liaoning Province has been expanding year by year.The rural production level gap has reached its maximum value in 2013 and has since continued to shrink.Secondly,this paper uses factor analysis to empirically analyze the differences in rural economic development in Liaoning Province.The influencing factors of rural regional economic disparities in Liaoning Province summarized in this paper mainly include policy conditions,differences in natural resources,industrial structure,and government investment in agriculture in all regions.Based on that,this paper establishes a rural regional economic measurement index system in Liaoning Province,including five first-level indicators and 15 second-level indicators.At the same time,it analyzes the differences in the level of economic development in rural areas in 14 prefecture-level cities in Liaoning Province in combination with factor analysis methods,and draws a comprehensive score and ranks the economic development level of rural areas in 14 prefecture-level cities.According to the results of the data,it can be concluded that there are significant differences in rural economy among different regions in Liaoning Province.Shenyang and Dalian are the leading cities in the Shenyang Economic Circle and the coastal economic belt.Finally,In response to the above research results,the article mainly proposes the following policies: First,according to the status quo of rural economy in different regions,the use of differential agricultural subsidies policy;Second,adjust and promote the regional industrial structure;Third,strengthen the regional connections,fully play the leading role of leading cities;Fourth,accurate poverty alleviation,focus on poverty alleviation in depressed areas;Fifth,improve the quality of education in rural areas and improve the quality of rural population.
