This essay mainly focuses on the evaluation and establishment of countryside Ecotourism development model in Xingshan County,Yichang,Hubei Province.The author firstly reviews the domestic and foreign ecotourism development theories.Based on a preliminary analysis of the domestic tourism market,the author then figures out that the current market of tourism is greatly huge and the number of tourists increases year by year,and the per-capita consumption expenditure is thriving as well.This yearly increase reflects the good prospects of the tourism market.After analyzing and summarizing the resources and development status of tourism in Xingshan,the author combines the prestigious "Wang Zhaojun culture" with "ecotourism" and designs a new development model for local tourism in Xingshan based on the SWOT analysis(Analysis of Strengths,Weakness,Opportunities and Threats).This article has six chapters and can mainly divide into four parts.The first part contains chapter 1 and 2 that reviews the domestic and foreign research trends and defines the concept of ecotourism.The second part analyzes the tourism situation within China and Xingshanin in chapter 3,also it utilizes SWOT analysis method in evaluation of ecotourism development condition in Xingshan.As for chapter 4,it sorts out the ecotourism resources and cultural tourism resources that can be utilized in Xingshan.The third part of this article,at the macro perspective of SWOT analysis,designs the scheme of ecotourism development model in Xingshan.The author formulates the development planning principles and defines the development area.In the last part,it shows us the development strategy and policies of ecotourism in Xingshan,which can be a certain reference for the development of ecotourism in Xingshan and other towns and villages in rural China.
