As the environmental problems caused by the large use of fossil energy are becoming increasingly serious,more and more countries have begun to use renewable energy to generate electricity.As the country with the largest energy consumption in the world,China has established many biomass direct-fired power plants in recent years.Biomass power generation has the advantages of low carbon,clean,renewable,stable and abundant,and has broad development prospects.The use of biomass fuel for power generation is an important part of China's comprehensive utilization of renewable energy.However,almost all the biomass power plants must rely on government subsidies to maintain normal operation due to the difficulty in collecting fuel and the high price of fuel.In this paper,the fuel supply chain of biomass power generation is studied aiming at the problem that the comprehensive benefit of biomass power generation is high but the profit of biomass power plant is difficult.The study involved three different types of fuel acquisition,farmers-brokers-biomass power plant,farmers-acquisition stations-biomass power plant,and farmers-brokers + acquisition stations-biomass power plant.In different fuel acquisition mode,every link in the biomass power supply chain including the fuel collection,transportation,storage,pretreatment and power generation were considered to maximize the profits of biomass power plant(economic benefits)and social welfare(social benefits),and the environmental benefits were regarded as a part of social welfare to construct the nonlinear multi-objective optimization model of biomass power supply chain.On this basis,the data obtained in the field investigation is used to conduct empirical analysis,and the global optimal solutions have been found.The optimization results showed that in the three fuel acquisition modes,the best comprehensive benefits can be obtained by using the acquisition stations and the brokers to collect fuels.Meanwhile,under the existing technology and policy environment,biomass power plant can greatly improve its profitability through developing a more scientific fuel acquisition strategy even if the fuel acquisition mode is not changed.At present,the biomass power generation industry in China is very different from other countries,and many foreign research results are not suitable for solving the current practical problems in China.Based on field investigation of several biomass power plants in China,this paper discussed the shortcomings and challenges of biomass power generation industry in China,and put forward corresponding suggestions.Biomass power plant should give full play to its leading position in the fuel supply chain and increase the profitability of their own,in order to obtain higher economic and social benefits.Then the biomass power generation supply chain will be more stable and efficient,and China's biomass power generation industry will have a greater development.
