For raising life standard, the increasing demand in quantity and quality for frozen food(fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, aquatic products, livestock products, and other refrigerated products)promotes the development of China's Cold Chain Logistic Market which benefits to food industry.Nevertheless, for particular requirements for logistics basic equipment, food product companies have to invest heavily in their own cold chain logistics construction. As a result, food product companies outsource some or all cold chain logistics to contractors. How to choose appropriate contractors is the main consideration for food product companies. On the basis of the characteristics of cold chain logistics, the specific conditions in terms of cold chain logistics in the food industry and the previous research, the thesis constructs an Indicator Evaluation System with four aspects as first step:company operation ability, cold chain logistics capacity, service fee, quality standard and cooperation ability.Secondly, this thesis sets up indicators for temperature control facilities and system, vehicle tracking system, punctuality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction evaluation accordingly to confirm the final indicator system by survey.Furthermore, this thesis determines the weight of each indicator with the Analytic Hierarchy Process and the Entropy Method, and then comprehensively sorts the indicator weight and indicator correspondence of three selected cold chain logistics contractors, makes the first one which is ranked by TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution)as the optimal choice. Finally, this thesis compares the calculated optimal result with the actual situation of the food industry to determine the feasibility of the selected model.
