With the development of ‘mass entrepreneurship and innovation',cities and cities have pushed forward the construction of maker spaces,as a result, the number of maker spaces has been more and more. However, excessive reliance on government subsidies, lacking of cooperative communication and a single profit model have restricted the development of maker spaces. As a new type of open innovation models, the researches on maker spaces are mainly focused on connotations and features, operation mode, profit model and regional practice.Makers' participation motivation and behavior have important effects on the operation effect of maker spaces. There are little studies on this area, the research on it showed the phenomenon of more theory description and less empirical research. Therefore,it's important for maker spaces to identify the participation motivations correctly and implement the corresponding strategies. This paper is based on a comprehensive review of the domestic and foreign related researches on maker space, makers' participation motivation and entrepreneurial behavior. It takes internal participation motivation and external participation motivation as independent variables, entrepreneurial behavior as dependent variable and entrepreneurial experience as regulating variable to build the model of the relationship between makers' motivation and entrepreneurial behavior. This paper takes the makers in Zhenjiang as the object of research, collects 249 effective sample data by questionnaire. The structural equation model is used for empirical research.Through the study, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Focused Attention,Self-efficacy,Skill-improvement,Perceived usefulness,Perceived ease of use,Community incentive and Social Factor have a significant impact on entrepreneurial behavior, but Self-esteem doesn't have a significant impact on entrepreneurial behavior. The impact of external participation motivation on entrepreneurial behavior is greater than the impact of internal participation motivation on entrepreneurial behavior.(2)Entrepreneurial experience has a significant moderating effect on Skill-improvement,Perceived usefulness,Community incentive and Social factor with entrepreneurial behavior;Entrepreneurial experience doesn't has a significant moderating effect on Focused Attention,Self-esteem,Self-efficacy,Perceived ease of use with entrepreneurial behavior.(3)Based on the empirical research, the paper thinks that maker spaces can perfect the introduction and training system of makers and construct the ecological system of maker space for entrepreneurship to speed up the operating efficiency of maker spaces.
