The Research Of The Impact Of Science And Technology Service Industry On Manufacturing Industry Upgrade And Regional Differences In China

Recently,in China,manufacturing industry has been kept developing with fast speed,but a large scale doesn't mean being competitive in the world.Lack of self-creativity and with rough mode of production manufacturing industry can't go well.During the stage of “China new economic condition”,the pressure of industry upgrade is so huge that supports and methods for breaking through are always being figured out.As an important part of nation innovate system,science and technology service industry can provide professional service and related support to science and technology activities hold by innovate subjects from primary industry,secondary industry and even tertiary industry.It plays an pivotal role in resource allocation,innovation decision-making,inventing,transforming,utilizing and popularizing new achievement,products and technology,which is valuable and meaningful to manufacturing industry upgrade.According to above-mentioned situation,the purpose of this research is summarizing and describing the influencing mechanism between science and technology service industry and manufacturing industry upgrade and its regional differences,which can tell how to improve appropriate factor and make the mechanism work well.Firstly,this research begins with review and comment of what science and technology service industry is and the relation between it and manufacturing industry.Based on senior finding and combined with the relation between supply and demand,the macroscopic basics and development of their relation and the microcosmic path of factor flowing shows how the influencing mechanism works and what other factors is to make sure it works.Secondly,considering industry subjects,influence factors and the influencing mechanism,modified CRITIC method is used to calculate the level of 2007-2016 China 30 provinces' science and technology service industry index.Thirdly,based on Cobb-Douglas production function,a model of what impact science and technology service industry has on manufacturing industry upgrade is built and then panel data of 2007-2016 China 30 provinces' industry is used to verify the model.The result shows science and technology service industry and other control variables have positive effect on manufacturing industry upgrade.However,after classifying 30 provinces with GDP per capita,the verifying result shows that regional differences does exist between different sorts,which the factors that evaluate the level of science and technology service industry index and regional features can explain the reasons of.Lastly,some conclusions are made according to the results of verifying science and technology service industry's impact on manufacturing industry upgrade for a whole nation and different sorts.Also considering China industry developing situation,there are some suggestion to improve science and technology service industry and manufacturing industry.
