At present, the manufacturers begin to take multiple collection channels to collect waste products simultaneously. In addition, with the emergence of many large retailers the market power has gradually changed from manufacturer-leading to equal status between manufacturers and the retailers and even retailer-leading.Under this background, this paper studies the optimal decisions and system performances of a closed loop supply chain(CLSC)with hybrid collection mode under two channel power structures: retailer-leading and Nash equilibrium. The main contents and innovations are as follows:In case of retailer-leading,two CLSC game models are established with two kinds of hybrid collection channels respectively: manufacturer-third party collection channel and manufacturer-retailer collection channel. The optimal pricing strategies, collection rates, channel members' profits and the CLSC's profits are obtained under these two hybrid collection channels. Then the results are compared with three single collection channels. The research shows that the competition intensity between two different channels in hybrid collection channels has a significant effect on CLSC performance, and then the range of parameter values within which the hybrid collection modes are superior(or inferior)to a single collection channel are identified. Finally, under the same analytical framework, the case of Nash equilibrium game between the manufacturer and the retailer is discussed. The theoretical results of this paper have some reference significance for the choice of a reasonable hybrid collection channel of firms in reality. |
