| New product development is an essential method for business to stay ahead of competition and continue to appeal to the changing needs of existing customers.30%~40% of revenue or production cost comes from products which designed 5 years ago,based on calculation of Research and Management in USA.There are many kinds of new product developed every year in Gold Security Company,yet we still do not have a strategy policy to support new product development,like detector device,since joint United Technology Company in 2009.Based on above,this paper will find a general solution to support detector product development,using what we learned during our MBA studying to utilize current procedure.The study will be used as working instruction to guide all internal new product development program in future.Firstly,based on the current situation of domestic and international research,the paper studied the usage of project knowledge on new product development in different companies.Secondly,the paper illustrate the related concepts and theory of product develop and project management,help to understand the basic knowledge.Also the quality tools and risk analysis tools are introduced which will be a good reference for further use.Thirdly,the paper introduced the specialty of GST(Golf Security Technology)and the organization structure,analyzed current situation and problems which is implemented on production now.Finally,the part provided the optimized new product develop management procedure using project management knowledge.The optimizing procedure separated into different phases for study and released a working introduction to get this solidified.To enhance this working introduction to be used on different product development,the fifth part released a company policy to get this solidified. |
