In the era of advocating “Mass entrepreneurship and innovation”,innovation has become a new benchmark for Chinese society.More and more enterprises' managers have started to encourage innovation and try every means to make the innovation mechanism play a role and improve the performance of their enterprises. Therefore, many enterprises begin to intensify their efforts in R&D activities, especially make a good relationship with their upstream partners.Inevitably, the process of cooperation has never been plain sailing. If there are cooperative activities,it will inevitably be faced with the risk of cooperation failure. In the process of carrying out cooperative innovation projects with suppliers and as the buyer, how to develop a set of effective supplier management and control mechanism to prevent suppliers from making unstandardized behavior, and to promote the trust and unity of the two parties, and avoid the disruption of cooperation has become the important problem to be paid attention to on the enterprises' managers in the field of purchasing management.Based on the theoretical basis of channel behavior theory, transaction cost theory, relationship contract theory and knowledge base view, this study is based on the experience of the buyer and supplier with cooperation innovation project as the research background as well as it is based on the buyer's perspective and taking the enterprise manager as the research object.Firstly, this research system combs the related academic documents about the four variables. Then, the control mechanism is divided into two modes of contractual control and relational norms control, and knowledge acquisition is used as intermediary variable and supplier dependence as moderator variable. The variables are introduced to the mechanism of control mechanism on the cooperative innovation performance of the two parties. On this basis, the related hypotheses of the relationship between the four variables are put forward, and a theoretical model of the relationship between the four parties is constructed.Secondly, questionnaire survey is confirmed as the research method.Through searching for the mature measurement scale of the four variables as well as determining the items of the questionnaire, this study conducts an advanced small sample prediction questionnaire. After analyzing the reliability and validity of the pre-test,it is verified and the formal questionnaire is confirmed to release. The research object of this study is mainly targeted at the buyers who have cooperative innovation projects in China.A total of 421 valid questionnaires are collected. In the empirical research, this study uses SPSS and AMOS software to do statistical analysis, hypothesis test and model validation for the collected sample data. Finally, according to the results of the empirical analysis, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)in the management of cooperative innovation projects, the use of contractual control and relational norms control can have a positive effect on the cooperative innovation performance of the two parties.(2)the buyer's knowledge acquisition plays a part of intermediary role, which are all applicable to contract control and relationship norm control in the impact mechanism of innovation performance;(3)supplier dependence has a significant positive moderating effect on the impact of contractual mechanism and cooperative innovation performance, but it has no significant influence on the relationship between relational norm control mechanism and cooperative innovation performance. The above results make a theoretical supplement to the field of procurement channel management, and have certain practical management significance.
