Research On The Export Potential Of China's Transportation Equipment Manufacturing Products Based On "The Belt And Road"

As a strategic industry for the development of the national economy,the transportation equipment manufacturing industry not only solves a large number of employment problems,but also brings convenient transportation to all regions,shortens transportation time and transaction costs,and promotes structural optimization of China's manufacturing exports.In September 2013,the "One Belt and One Road" strategy pointed out that priority should be given to the development of the transportation infrastructure in China and other countries along the route and to promote the construction of railway roads in China and Europe.Only by solving the traffic problem can we ensure the effective conduct of trade.Countries need to negotiate cooperation and increase the importance attached to the construction of transportation infrastructure,and work together to open up a new prosperity for countries along the “One Belt and One Road” initiative.Based on the understanding of international trade theory and the extensive study of relevant research literature,this paper selects bilateral GDP,population,geographical distance between two countries,exchange rate level and complementarity index as the basic variables,and two dummy variables of WTO members and WTO members to bring in gravity.The model explored the factors influencing the export value of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry,and calculated the export potential of China and the world's major export markets based on the regression formula.In order to compare the differences in the factors affecting the export value in different periods,the article adopts a constant market share model for the second-order decomposition of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry from 1997 to 2016.The study found that GDP,exchange rate,complementarity index and common language,WTO members have played a catalytic role in the export of transportation equipment manufacturing,and population and geographical distance are not conducive to the growth of exports.In the past 20 years,the export potential of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry has significantly improved and the overall competitiveness of the industry has significantly improved.The specific performance is that the export potential ratios of the countries along the “One Belt and One Road” and “Non-Belt and One Road” trends show an increasing trend and competition effect.
