The rapid development of urbanization not only speeds up the city construction scale, but also exacerbates the contradiction between supply and demand of land.Whether it is the developed areas with rapid development or backward areas, the construction and development of their cities has increased the intensity of land development. In March 18,2014,the State Council issued the "national new town planning(2014-2020)".It stressed that "the most stringent farmland protection system and intensive land conservation system should be implemented. In accordance with the principal of total control, strict control incremental and invigorating the stock, the land management system can be innovated;Land-use structure should be optimized;optimization of land use structure can be optimized;land use efficiency can be improved.Reasonable needs of towns can be met".It can be said that the land development and utilization in the process of urbalization development has attracted much attention. The domestic scholars mainly reflect the extent of the land development and utilization from the aspects of construction land expansion.Studies on land development intensity and spatial spillover effect from the spatial dimension is relatively few.The relevant researches on land development intensity in China are abundant among which studies pay more attentions are on the development of land use. However, most of the previous studies have ignored the spatial effect of land development intensity in cities. This paper attempts to study China's land development intensity in cities from the perspective of the spatial dimension. It has important theoretical significance and practical significance to investigate the spatial correlation between land development intensity in cities and adjacent areas of land development intensity. On the base of panel data of 31 provinces from 2004 to2015 in China, this paper firstly measures the Moran 'sI index, which showed that the land development intensity in cities has obvious spatial autocorrelation.Secondly,by Lagrange multiplier(LM)test, likelihood ratio test(LR),Wald test, the spatial correlation test and other related inspection,,it is shown that the spatial Durbin model is the optimal model, choosing suitable spatial econometric model. Finally, some indexes including the city rate, fixed asset investment, population density, fiscal expenditure,GDP,relevant indicators of industrial structure are selected.By using the Matlab2010 b software regression spatial Durbin model, factors affecting the intensity of land development space of China's spillover effect is measured.and the effect of the spatial Durbin model is decomposed. Results through Durbin model show that there is significant spatial spillover effect to the intensity of land development in our country, and a regional land Intensity will lead to land development intensity in other areas. The direct effect of the urbanization rate, population, the industrial structure on land development intensity is positive.
