Study On The Influnence Of Fiscal Decentralization On The Imbalance Of Urbanization In China

At present,China's urbanization construction has made very effective achievements,and the level of urbanization is also rising year by year.Urbanization plays an increasingly important role in promoting economic development.However,some unreasonable phenomena have emerged in the current process of urbanization.The unbalanced development of population urbanization that lags behind that of land urbanization is a prominent manifestation.This imbalance has led to a series of economic,social and environmental problems,which aroused many scholars' attentions to the imbalance of urbanization.Fiscal decentralization is a very important means of resource allocation and macroeconomic control.Some scholars have studied the relationship between the two and found that China's fiscal decentralization system is indeed an important factor that causes the imbalance between population urbanization and land urbanization.Therefore,studying the relationship between fiscal decentralization and urbanization imbalance not only helps us to consider the inadequacies of the existing fiscal decentralization system,but also helps us to alleviate the urbanization of the population by the reform of this decentralized system,comprehensively improving the quality and level of urbanization in our country.Based on the above reasons,this paper first reviewed the related literature on fiscal decentralization and urbanization imbalance at home and abroad,and on this basis,it collated the present situation of China's fiscal decentralization system and the imbalance between population urbanization and land urbanization development.Through relevant theoretical analysis and induction,the paper theoretically analyzes the influence mechanism of fiscal decentralization on the imbalance of urbanization.Then the panel data of 29 provinces from2001 to 2015 is used to construct an empirical model to analyze the extent of the impact of fiscal decentralization on the imbalance of urbanization in China.According to empirical research,the following conclusions have been drawn: the fiscal decentralization has a positiveeffect on the imbalance of population urbanization lagging behind the development of land urbanization.That is,the current fiscal decentralization system in China has exacerbated the imbalance between urbanization and land urbanization.Finally,on the basis of theoretical and empirical analysis,from the perspective of improving the existing fiscal decentralization system in China,this paper puts forward some relevant policy suggestions to improve the urbanization of China's population lagging behind the imbalance of land urbanization.
