Study On The Impact Of Intellectual Property Rights Protection On The Growth Of Knowledge-intensive Services

In recent years,the scale of the development of our service industry has been expanding,obviously supporting the national economy.At the same time,the internal structure of the service industry is also changing from the traditional labor-intensive and capital-intensive to knowledge-intensive.With the deepening of the Supply side structural reforms,it is particularly important to optimize the supply structure of the service industry and cultivate the new kinetic energy of economic growth.As an important sector of the service industry,the knowledge-intensive service industry is the inevitable result of the rapid development of knowledge economy,the deepening of the social division of labor and the upgrading of the industrial structure of the service industry.No matter from the development experience of the developed countries or the development practice of our country,the stable development of the national economy and the internal optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure of the service industry can not be separated from the healthy development of the knowledge-intensive service industry.The source of the knowledge-intensive service industry is the supply of knowledge,so it is important to study the impact of intellectual property rights protection on the growth of knowledge-intensive service industry.There is less literature on the growth of knowledge intensive service industry from the perspective of intellectual property rights protection at home and abroad,which has not yet formed a systematic research framework and a rigorous theoretical analysis paradigm.Based on the subject of the study,this paper focuses on the literature of intellectual property rights protection on the growth of knowledge intensive service industry,and combs the research status of intellectual property rights protection for knowledge intensive services.At the same time,the concept of intellectual property rights protection and knowledge intensive service industry is clearly introduced and the development of intellectual property rights protection and knowledge intensive service industry is also described in detail.Under the the influence mechanism,this paper studies the impact of intellectual property rights protection on the growth of knowledge intensive service industry based on microcosmic data,which made up for some research defects from macroscopic perspective.Based on the panel data of 266 listed knowledge intensive service enterprises in CSMAR database from year 2003 to year 2015,this paper uses Stata14.0 software to study the empirical analysis of intellectual property rights protection for the growth of knowledge intensive service industry for larger data sample size and more accurate conclusion.It has been found that intellectual property rights protection became an important institutional factor in promoting the growth of knowledge intensive services,and it is the power source of knowledge-intensive service industry.The impact of intellectual property rights protection on the development of is different in region,strengthening the protection of intellectual property rights has played a significant positive role in promoting the growth of knowledge intensive service industry in the eastern region.On the basis of the eastern region,the protection of intellectual property rights will not narrow the gap between the growth of knowledge intensive service industry in the central and eastern regions,but the gap between the knowledge intensive service industry in the west and the east is widened.The great difference in the intensity of intellectual property rights protection between the western region and the eastern region has a direct impact on the unbalanced evolution trend of the knowledge intensive service industry.Intellectual property rights protection will have a positive market expansion effect on the growth of knowledge intensive service industry while excessive intellectual property rights protection will also play a market depression effect role on the growth of knowledge intensive service industry,the net effect of intellectual property protection on the growth of knowledge intensive services industry depends on whether the positive and reverse effects are stronger or weaker.So the influence of intellectual property protection on the growth of knowledge intensive service industry presents the nonlinear characteristics of “inverted U”.At this time,the optimum theoretical strength of intellectual property protection is existed.When the actual intensity of intellectual property protection reaches the optimum theoretical strength,it can maximize the growth of the knowledge intensive service industry.
