The Impacts Of Structural Social Capital On Incubation Performance Under Association Governance

With the emerging tide of public entrepreneurship and public innovation in China,innovation and entrepreneurship have been regarded as new engines of economic growth.The new technology revolution and the new industrial patterns have improved the uncertainty of innovation,which puts forwards new requirements on incubators.Because a single incubator can't always provide all resources that incubatees need,incubators have to cooperate with other innovation entities to gain extensive resources.In order to promote the development of incubator network,leaded by local governments,the business incubation association,based on its portal website and public service platforms,can boost structural social capital and enhance resource integration capability in incubation networks,which increases incubators' opportunities to help start-ups gain heterogeneous,scarce resources and promotes incubation performance.From the perspective of resource integration,this thesis analyses how structural social capital affect incubation performance in the incubation network under association governance.The whole article consists of six parts: The first part is a comprehensive introduction,including the research background,significance and contents.The second part mainly collates and summarizes the theories of incubator network,social capital and resource integration capability by the method of literature review.Then it defines the concepts and dimensions of structural social capital,incubation performance,resource integration capability under association governance.The third part analyzes the relationships among incubation network's structural social capital,resource integration capability and incubation performance.Based on the theoretical analysis,this part puts forward relevant hypotheses and constructs the theoretical model.The forth part introduces the procedure of questionnaire design and data acquisition,and analyzes the basic characteristics of samples.The fifth part uses SPSS and AMOS to analysis the collected data and examines the hypotheses.The last part,on the basis of analysis above,refines the main conclusions of this article,and gives some corresponding suggestions.The results indicate that under association governance,the incubation network scale and relationship quality have significantly positive impacts on incubation performance,relationship strength has no significantly positive impact on incubation performance;structural social capital has significantly positive impact on resource identification ability,resource acquisition ability and resource utilization ability;resource acquisition ability and resource utilization ability have significantly positive impacts on incubation performance,resource identification ability has no significantly positive impact on incubation performance;resource integration ability plays a partial intermediary role between the structural social capital and incubation performance.
