With the reform and openess of our country and the development of economy and society, the income of the residents is increasing, the living standard of the residents is improving. As an important non-staple food in people's daily diet, vegetables are closely related to people's lives. At the same time, they occupy an important position in agricultural production. It is of great practical significance to understand the consumption situation of vegetable market and analyze the influencing factors of resident vegetable consumption.Based on the investigation and data collection, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of Zhaluteqi people on vegetable consumption by using the time series multivariate regression method and the binary logistic regression method and using the macroscopic data.At the same time, with the help of micro data,it is difficult to measure other influencing factors on the consumption of vegetables in Zhaluteqi. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The present situation of vegetable production and consumption in Zhaluteqi was analyzed by using the relevant data and cross-section investigation data of the statistical yearbook of Zhaluteqi. It could be seen that the production of vegetables in Zhaluteqi from 2012 to 2016 has been increasing, and the total consumption of vegetables and the average vegetable expenditure per capita have also been increasing.Compared with other surrounding counties, the most total vegetable consumption in 2016 was at Kezuozhongqi, followed by Kulun,Keyouzhongqi and Kailu. The most average vegetable expenditure per capita was at Kulun, followed by Zhaluteqi,Kailu,Kezuozhongqir,Keyouzhongqi. The average vegetable expenditure per capita in Zhaluteqi and surrounding county was higher than that in rural area.(2)The factors influencing the consumption of vegetables in Zaluteqi were analyzed by using the macroscopic data through time series analysis. The results showed that the growth rate of per capita vegetable consumption was increasing with disposable income per capita, the ratio of meat price and organic vegetable to the sown area of common vegetable was positively correlated, and the vegetable production had a positive effect on the growth rate of vegetable consumption, but it did not pass the significance test.(3)Microcosmic data were used to analyze the influencing factors of vegetable consumption in the citizens of Zhaluteqi. The results showed that young married women with occupation of organ institution, higher education and higher income paid more attention to the freshness of vegetables, brand, safety problem when they bought vegetables, married middle-aged women with occupation of organ institution, higher education and higher income paid more attention to the nutritive value of vegetables and purchase place when they buy vegetables.Young unmarried women with other occupations, lower incomes and higher education paid more attention to the quality labels of vegetables when they buy vegetables.Married young women with other occupations, higher education and higher income paid more attention to vegetable quality when buying vegetables. The influencing factors of vegetable consumption quality in Zhaluteqi were analyzed by binary logistic regression analysis. The results showed that women were more inclined to buy organic vegetables;the older they were, the more inclined they were to buy organic vegetables;the larger the family population was,the more inclined they were to buy organic vegetables; The married family is more likely to buy organic vegetables in the marital status factor, and the higher the monthly income of the family is,the more likely the residents are to choose organic vegetables.Through actual investigations,it was found that most of the Consumers still choose to buy ordinary vegetables and hold a general trust attitude towards the vegetables which indicates that consumers still have a crisis of trust in vegetable quality and government supervision. In view of the above conclusions, the following policy recommendations are made, the government supervision department should strengthen the quality inspection and supervision of vegetables, and grasp the safety problems of vegetables from the source. The government should establish and improve the relevant policies and measures to support the development of vegetable industry, pay attention to scientific and technological innovation, optimize the variety structure, and ensure that the vegetable industry is developing well and quickly, and raise consumers' awareness of vegetable quality through television broadcasting or other scientific knowledge of vegetable safety routes or other safe foods.
