In recent years,governments have proposed bus priority strategic measures for urban traffic congestion,requiring the development of public transportation and the construction of urban public transportation systems.Intelligent bus system is an important means to improve urban traffic congestion and improve the level of public transport services.The intelligent public transport system is generally divided into a bus dispatch center,an intelligent electronic stop sign,and a smart bus vehicle terminal.This paper studies and designs a smart bus vehicle terminal.According to the demand of bus vehicle terminal,this paper selects ARM Crotex-A8 processor as the main control chip,builds the embedded Linux operating system as the development platform,and completes the circuit design of each module,adopts QT Creator integrated software development environment.The function application design of the vehicle terminal includes functions such as man-machine interface function,GPS vehicle positioning function,voice station function,video collection function,and vehicle congestion detection function.At the same time,the vehicle is realized by 3G and Wi-Fi technology.The function of information exchange between the terminal and the dispatch center and the electronic station card.This paper focuses on the detection method of cabin congestion degree.Based on the analysis of three typical vehicle congestion detection methods,a method of vehicle congestion detection based on image processing technology is adopted,which is photographed by car camera.The video,based on the OpenCV library,is based on the Haar feature.The crowds in the standing area of the bus are divided into three detection areas for face detection,and the boundary of the cabin congestion is divided according to the bus limit standard.The whole vehicle test is carried out for the vehicle-mounted terminal developed in this paper.The functions of GPS positioning,wireless network transmission,video monitoring and congestion detection are tested.The test results show that all functions can reach the original design.The requirements verified the feasibility and rationality of the program.
