With the rapid development of China ’s civil aviation industry,there is a significant increase i n the demand of airlines for air crew personnel,which has set off a domestic upsurge of the esta blishment of air crew major(or direction).China ’s air crew major generally appear in higher vocat ional or technical colleges,but in recent years,China has also started to hold a bachelor’s level of air crew direction.These undergraduate flight attendant education generally relies on a specific a rt major of universities at the undergraduate level.For example,Nanchang Hangkong University s ubordinated it to the performance major of music Academy.Chongqing Normal University affiliat ed it to the art education major of the school of geography and tourism.Yunnan Normal Universit y is affiliated to the dance performance major of the art Academy.The research direction of this t hesis is broadcasting and hosting art,which belongs to the school of journalism and communicati on of A university.This major started to recruit students in 2011,and stopped to recruit students in 2016.Why is the recruitment time of an emerging undergraduate major only a short period of five years?As A 2012 flight attendant student of A school,I deeply understood the current situati on of talent cultivation of flight attendant education in A school with strong doubts and concerns,discussed the existing problems,and tried to put forward some countermeasures to reflect to alert.Based on the questionnaire survey of 150 flight attendants in grade 2011-2015 of A school,a s well as the interviews with some teachers and classmates,this paper has drawn the following re search contents and conclusions:First,there are problems in schools that need to be improved.First of all,in terms of enrollm ent,the "directional" enrollment is not standardized,the quality of students has not been signific antly improved,and the enrollment policy lacks innovation.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify th e advantages and disadvantages of undergraduate flight attendant education according to the "di rection" of enrollment,make efforts to improve the quality of students,and try to improve the en rollment policy.Secondly,in the process of training,the school is seriously lack of initiative in the"school-enterprise cooperation",the curriculum is lack of scientific and systematic theoretical gui dance,and the student assessment system needs to be improved.Therefore,it is necessary for th e school to strengthen the host status,optimize the curriculum structure and improve the studen t assessment system in the "school-enterprise cooperation".Finally,in terms of employment serv ices,the lack of professional pertinence in employment guidance and the lack of civil aviation res ources in schools increase the difficulty of matching employment.Therefore,employment guidan ce is needed to enhance professional pertinence and open up more employment channels for stu dents.Second,there are problems in the enterprise that need to be improved.First of all,in the rec ruitment and admission,the recruitment ability and evaluation criteria of enterprise teachers affe ct the quality of recruitment.Therefore,enterprises need to send excellent teachers to carry out recruitment selection,and strict admission.Secondly,in the training process,the teaching quality and teaching effect of civil aviation professional courses are not good,and the turnover of enterp rise teachers is too large.Therefore,it is necessary for the enterprise to improve the teaching abil ity of the appointed teachers and improve their remuneration and welfare.Finally,in terms of em ployment services,enterprises provide students with limited job channels and competitive advan tages,and limited employment resources for students.Therefore,enterprises need to provide pr ofessional employment guidance and mock interview for students,so as to strive for more emplo yment resources.Third,there are problems in students that need to be improved.Students’ basic cultural liter acy is relatively deficient,initiative and self-discipline are insufficient,and employment psycholog y is biased,which requires the improvement of basic cultural level,the enhancement of initiative and self-discipline,and the cultivation of a good employment mentality.Although the flight attendant education in A school is only an individual case,it also has certain representativeness in the undergraduate flight attendant education.By reflecting on the current situation,problems and countermeasures of flight attendant education in school A,we can also draw corresponding reflections and warnings from the following five aspects:flight attendant students,secondary colleges undertaking flight attendant education,cooperative school-running enterprises,airlines and students ’ parents.It is hoped that different"stakeholders " can correctly deal with the opportunities and challenges faced and promote the benign development of undergraduate flight attendant education.
