In the large-scale breeding process of broiler, the hot objective environment will cause great stimulation to broiler. However, the specific stress process is more complex, which makes prevention more difficult.Because of this,in order to maximize the interests of fanners,it is important to develop a compound Chinese medicine preparation which can improve the resistance to heat effects of broilers. Therefore, this study aimed to observe the effect and mechanism of different doses of compound Chinese herbal medicine on growth and immune function in broilers under heat stress. The compound Chinese medicine preparations were Astragalus,Codonopsis pilosula,Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Radix Isatidis. The 280 broilers were 1 days old. They were randomly divided into four groups,70 rats in each group.A set of control group and three experimental groups were set up.The daily feed of the experimental group will be added 0.5%,1%,2%of the traditional Chinese medicine preparations on the basis of the control group. The control group was fed only with basic feed. The feeding cycle was 42d,and at the beginning of experiment 7d,the Chinese herbal medicine was added into the feed and the feeding time was 35d.In 21,28,14 chickens,35 and 42d,7:00-9:00 every morning to all chickens weighing and fasting called residual material amount, record of feed consumption, calculated daily feed intake, average daily gain, ratio of feed and immune organ index were determined. At 14,21,28,35,and 42d,IgG,IgA,IgM levels, and peripheral T lymphocyte and B lymphocyte transformation rates were Imeasured in chickens respectively. At 14,21,28,35 and 42d,antibody titers and avian influenza titers of Newcastle disease virus were determined. The spleen IL-2,IL-4 and IFN-? were measured at 35 and 42d.The test results are as follows:1 with the help of Chinese herbal medicine,it can significantly improve the utilization rate of feed during the growth of broilers.By means of related experimental studies, the data show that the optimum dose of 1:100 was added in this experiment.2 with the help of Chinese herbal medicine,it can effectively improve the development speed and development of immune system in broilers.Similarly, the 1:100 works best. The index of bursa of Fabricius was irregular, and thymus index was more obvious in the later stage.3 With the help of the Chinese herbal medicine can help make chicken for resistance to heat stress IgA,IgG,IgM content of immune globulin increased significantly,in which IgA added 1%compound Chinese medicine preparations are better than the other experimental group,IgG with the addition of 2%compound Chinese medicine preparations are better than the experimental group,IgG not found the change rules of obvious.4 With the help of Chinese herbal medicine, the conversion rate of T,B lymphocytes, which can make important immune cells in broilers,is greatly improved.5 With the help of Chinese herbal preparations, the antibodies against Newcastle disease and avian influenza antibodies in Heat Stressed Broilers can be improved, and the antibody level can be delayed.6 With the help of Chinese herbal medicine, the expression of IL-2,IL-4 and IFN-y in spleen of Heat Stressed Broilers can be enhanced. The results showed that the effect of compound Chinese medicine preparation on the growth performance and immune function of Heat Stressed Broilers was significant. It not only provides a valuable reference for the healthy breeding of Broilers and product safety, but also provides a theoretical basis for further research on the application of traditional Chinese medicine preparations in animal production.
