Objective:A comparative group control of the body surface infrared temperature on the back-liver area back-shu points has been done between the patients with chronic HBV infection and healthy volunteers and a correlation analysis of parameters has been done about the relation between infrared temperature and hepatic portal vein hemodynamics to explore the pathological basis of the body surface infrared temperature changes on back-shu points of the patients with chronic HBV infection,to provide scientific basis for the back-shu points diagnosis and acupuncture treatment of the chronic HBV infected patients, and to carry on a verification study on the TCM theory about the corresponding organic disease showed by back-shu points.Material and Method:The observation group was formed by 46 patients with chronic HBV infection who has been clearly informed and agreed with this medical study from the Sixth People's Hospital of Benxi, and the control group was formed by 44 healthy volunteers without chronic HBV infection after physical test from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The ATIR-M301 medical infrared thermal imager has been utilized to collect the infrared images from subjects' chest and back. And the temperature has been tested on Ganshu,Jinsuo,Hunmen,Danshu,Yishu,Danzhong and based on the temperature on Danzhong point because of the same back exposing level and stable temperature to cultivate every relative temperature(the point temperature/Danzhong point temperature)on every test point. All statistics from the subjects were tested by GE 730 Color Doppler Ultrasound System and operated by the same one doctor to test and record the DPV(cm),VPV(cm/s),to cultivate CI(CI=?×(d/2)2/v).According to the standard which was CI>0.08,the experimental group were randomly divided into hepatitis group and cirhosis group. The paired inspection has been done between the two groups infrared temperature statistics, and the relative infrared temperature changes from the same side and the same points between groups have been observed.By the correlation analysis between the infrared temperature and portal hemodynamic parameters, the pathological basis of the infrared temperature changes from the temperature test points has been explored.Statistical method: The experimental data was analyzed with SPSS17.0,the mean was expressed as(x ąs),all tests were conducted using two-sided tests. The two-sample comparison was based on the normal distribution and homogeneity of variance test results using t-test or non-parametric test.Statistical results P ? 0.05 was considered statistically significant,P> 0.05 was not statistically significant. The correlation analysis used the Spearman two-variable rank correlation test.A positive correlation coefficient indicates a positive correlation and a negative correlation coefficient indicates a negative correlation.P<0.05 is statistically significant. Results: 1.Analyze of infrared temperature on liver back-shu area at different health stateThe infrared temperature of the two acupoints was shown as hepatitis group > control group > cirhosis group.Mann-Whitney test between control group and hepatitis group showed that except for the Qimen(left side),the relative temperature of all acupoints had no significant difference(p<0.05),test between hepatitis group and control group showed no significant difference(p>0.05),and test between hepatitis group and cirhosis group showed significant difference(p<0.05).2.Correlation analysis between infrared temperature and portal hemodynamics(1)All temperature test points from control group had no correlation with the relative data from DPV,VPV and CI.(2)All temperature test points form experimental group had no correlation with DPV.It indicates that the expansion of portal vein inner diameter caused by chronic HBV infection is not the direct factor of the decrease of relative infrared temperature of meridians in the experimental group.(3)The relative infrared temperature of Ganshu(right side)in the experimental group had negative correlation with DPV.This indicates that the infrared temperature of the Ganshu(right side)increases with the decrease of portal vein blood flow velocity.(4)All temperature test points form experimental group had significant correlation with CI.with the aggravation of the pathological changes of liver cirrhosis, the infrared temperature of the back meridians is increasing.Conclusion:1.Ganshu points are the body surface infrared temperature sensitive point with chronic HBV infection, reflecting the pathological basis of the disease that liver temperature changes caused by liver fibrosis, and providing scientific basis for the back-shu points diagnosis and acupuncture treatment of the chronic HBV infected patients.2.The infrared temperature of Ganshu(right side)was negatively related to the slowing of portal vein blood flow in patients with HBV infection, providing scientific basis that back-shu points can reflect corresponding organic diseases by local effects.
