Purpose: To observe the effect of Shenshuaifang and its decomposed prescriptions on the kidney and renal function of model rats with chronic renal failure(CRF),to confirm the curative effect of Shenshuaifang.Meanwhile,by observing the effect of Shenshuaifang and its decomposed prescriptions on the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor(TNF-?),serum interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in CRF model rats.To study their differences in the efficacy of controlling micro-inflammation,and reverse the role of different TCM pathological mechanisms in the pathogenesis of CRF and the development of the disease.Material and method:75 SD rats were divided into normal group and model group according to the random principle.The model group was used to replicate the chronic renal failure model according to the Yokozawa method.After successful modeling,they were divided into normal group,model group,Shenshuaifang group,tonifying group,blood-circulating group,turbidity-dispelling group and losartan group according to the random principle.Rats in each drug intervention group were given the corresponding aqueous solution of the drug,and the rats in the normal group were given distilled water for intragastric administration.After 8 weeks of continuous administration,blood was taken to detect serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum albumin(ALB),serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT),TNF-?,IL-6,CRP.The measured data were statistically analyzed using SSPS25.0.Results:1.The level of Scr in the rats with Shenshuaifang group was lower than its decomposed prescription groups,losartan group and model group(P<0.05).The level of Scr in the turbidity-dispelling group was also lower than other decomposed prescription groups,losartan group and model group.P<0.05);the level of BUN in Shenshuaifang group was lower than other groups except the normal group(P<0.05).2.The levels of TNF-?,IL-6 and CRP in Shenshuaifang group and turbidity-dispellinggroup were lower than those in the other decomposed groups and losartan group(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the weight of rats in Shenshuaifang group was higher than that in the decomposed groups,Huayu group,turbidity group,losartan group and model group(P<0.05).4.The ALB levels in the rats with Shenshuaifang and the turbidity-dispelling group were higher than tonifying group,blood-circulating group,the losartan group and the model group(P<0.05).5.Compared with the normal group,there was no significant difference in ALT levels between Shenshuaifang group and its decomposed prescriptions groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Shenshuaifang the turbidity-dispelling group can improve the renal function damage of adenine by promoting GRF,promote toxin excretion and reduce azotemia;the effect of Shenshuaifang is best.2.Shenshuaifang and the turbidity-dispelling group can alleviate the micro-inflammatory state of CRF rats by reducing the concentration of pro-inflammatory cytokines;and reversely shows that turbidity may be the key pathological factor of micro-inflammatory state.3.Shenshuaifang can significantly alleviate the weight loss of rats with chronic renal failure and effectively improve serum ALB levels in CRF model rats,indicating that the kidney failure can improve the nutritional status of CRF rats.4.Shenshuaifang and its decomposed prescriptions have no risk of liver injury in CRF rats.
