| Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of pharyngeal bleeding therapy in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris and the benefit of generalization of it in the clinic,this study has observed pharyngeal bleeding therapy combined with Liangxue Jiedu Tang in the treatment of blood-heat syndrome in Psoriasis.Methods:In this randomized controlled clinical trial,patients were treated in the outpatient department of Dermatology in the third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine during December 2018 to December 2019.There are 40 patients meeting the inclusive criteria with blood-heat syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris.After the random number table method,they were divided into two groups,each group included 20 cases,and were treated orderly.The treatment group was treated with pharyngeal bleeding therapy(once a week)combined with Liangxue Jiedu Tang(one dose per day),and the control group was treated with Liangxue Jiedu Tang(one dose per day)for 2 consecutive courses of treatment,each of treatment contains four weeks.Psoriasis area and disease severity index(PASI)score,itching degree(VAS)score,quality of life index(DLQI)and pharyngeal symptom score were recorded before treatment,after the fourth and eighth weekends of treatment,as well as the adverse reactions during treatment.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used for analysis.Results:The clinical study included 40 patients with blood-heat syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris,each group of treatment group and control group included 20 cases.There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,course of disease and PASI score,VAS score,DLQI score and pharyngeal symptom score before treatment,which means the two groups were comparable.After 8 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate was 95%in the treatment group compared with 80%in the control group(P=0.342>0.05),while the callus rate(recovery+apparent effect)of the treatment group was 75%,which was significantly higher than the rate of the control group(P<0.01).Furthermore,the PASI scores of the treatment group decreased greater than the control group after 8 weeks of treatment with a statistical difference(P=0.046<0.05).The VAS scores of the treatment group declined significantly larger than the control group(P=0.003<0.01)after 4 weeks of treatment.But there was no statistically significant difference between two groups in the degree of VAS scores decline after the 8th week of treatment(P=0.387>0.05).The DLQI scores and its declining degree at the end of 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment have no significant statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05)as well.The pharyngeal symptom scores after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment declined higher than the control group,with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Moreover,the pharyngeal symptom scores after 8 weeks of treatment was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.014<0.05).There were no serious adverse reactions occurred in the treatment of the two groups of patients,and.the compliance of each group was good without any cases of withdrawal or expulsion.Conclusion:Pharyngeal bleeding therapy combined with Liangxue Jiedu Tang could improve blood-heat syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris with a markedly effective rate.The psoriasis lesion,itching,pharyngeal symptoms in the patients with a Pharyngeal bleeding therapy have different degrees of improvement,and the curative effect of Pharyngeal bleeding therapy is superior to control treatment with only oral Liangxue Jiedu Tang.But there has no significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of the quality of life.In order to make the mechanism of this treatment clear further study is need,including larger samples,increased period of observation and related laboratory indexes.The treatment of Pharyngeal bleeding therapy combined with Liangxue Jiedu Tang in the psoriasis is safe and effective,worthy of clinical promotion. |
