Ruan Ji is a famous person in Xuan Xue,who lived in Wei and Jin dynasties.He is one of the most important representatives of Zhu Lin Qi Xian.The fact is not so simple,a depressed and lonely soul hides behind his behaviors.What causes these is the separate between the reality and ideal,the ethic of Confucianism and nature of Daoism.Faced with the special period of Wei and Jin dynasties,Ruan Ji criticized the reality with the ideal and constructed visional ideal personality,which viewed from the individual aspect.He trying to surpass the reality and search for the spiritual destination in the ideal world.The ideal personality is an important philosophical proposition in Chinese history and numerous people with lofty ideals are exploring and practicing constantly.Ruan Ji's thought of ideal personality has bright representativeness in Chinese history.Ruan Ji's thought of ideal personality inherited from predecessors and combined with the metaphysics spirit in Wei and Jin dynasties at the same time,and integrated the elements of Confucianism and Taoism.He regarded “Daren”,a personality that transcends reality,as his ideal personality.Ruan Ji's ideal personality advocates the nature,chases originality,treating all things as the same.This kind of ideal personality goes beyond universe,society and oneself and cannot be achieved in reality.Ruan Ji frees himself only by composing poetry,traveling and longing for the immortal in order to gain liberty in the subjective field.Although the liberation is temporary,it brings Ruan Ji some comfort.In addition,in the fight between the secular world and fate,metaphysicians like Ruan Ji affirm people's self-awareness with the help of the thought from Taoism,opening the age of waking up the self-awareness in Wei and Jin dynasties.In one word,Ruan Ji's thought of ideal personality has bright representativeness in Chinese history and has great influence...
