Da Song Xuan He Yi Shi is a Jiang Shi Hua Ben(????)of the Son-g Dynasty.The contents and language materials of this book are very plentiful.It reflects all aspects of Song society.The abundant disyllabic predicate-object phrases and predicative-object disyllable words,offer a possible for revealing the feature of Da Song Xuan He Yi Shi,and is the valuable material to research the vocabulary of the song dynasty,even Chinese vocabulary.The introduction mainly introduces dissertation reason,research status,versio-n spread and some theoretical problems concerned.From the semantic role of the object,chapter one observes the semantic relation between the predicate and object.Through research,we find that patient object dominates the advantage,and this book have no typical agentive object.Although the objects of other types have not many,they form the complex and diverse semantic relations between the predicate and object collectively.The second chapter mainly discusses the source of the predicative-object disyllable words and development of the separable word.Viewed from the origin of modern Chinese vocabulary,we divide the predicative-object disyllable words into two parts,inherited words and neologisms.The predicative-object disyllable words inherited the previous more,particularly in old Chinese,reflecting the inheritance and stability of Chinese vocabulary.The neologisms include some spoken word with colorful colloquial language,and their writing forms is flexible and varied.Some neologisms can provide examples for Chinese Dictionary,and have great value for the compilation of dictionaries.The extended forms of separable words not only include noun,pronoun,adjective,numerals,quantifier,partical,but also contain directional verbs,quantitative phrase.The extended forms in Da Song Xuan He Yi Shi is basically the same as modern Chinese just not that mature.The majority of the separable words still retained in modern Chinese,others or disappear,or retained in the written language,or replaced by other forms of words.Chapter three discusses the lexicalization of predicate-object phrases,finding that the conditions and causes are embodied in phonetic,semantic,psychology and cognition of human.Weak action of the predicate and abstraction of object are the semantic condition of lexicalization.The rhythm and bisyllablization provide some phonetic conditions for the lexicalization.Not only the cognitive mechanism of metaphor and metonymy,but also the chunk psychology promotes the completion of lexicalization in some degree.
