A Study Of The Structure Of Disyllabic Bibliography In Nan Qi Shu

NanQi shu is one of the official history books of the middle ancient.It’s language is elegant and concise,but there’re also many lively spoken words.It was written in QiLiang years, is the representative of middle ancient Chinese written language.The two sallyable predicate-object structures in NanQi shu can be divided into phrases and words.The predicates of phrases can be composed of four types of words: verbs, nouns, adjectives, directional words. Among them,verbs are more than others.The majority of verb predicates are action verbs with strong movement, the tendency verbs, sense verbs, weak action verbs, no action verbs, adjective predicates and noun predicates, directional words are much less.However, no action existential verbs in the book have a high recurrence rate.Nouns and adjectives as predicates, belong to the change of parts of speech. Directional predicates are on the transition to tendency verbs.The objects gave priority to body objects, most of which are nouns.Numerals, pronouns, distinguish objects are less.Predicate objects involve two kinds of words:verbs and adjectives.They change to nouns when entering vocabulary level.The relationship between predicate and object is abundant, among rhem,accept relationship takes a large part.The words can be divided into four classes:verbs, adjectives, nouns, adverbs.Among them,verbs are more than others.Two morphemes which constitute a verb can contain verbal morpheme or may not contain, but "verb+nounâ†'verb " is the most classical model.Noun is second in number, but the way to compose word is single.The number of adjectives and adverbs are less.The way of forming adjectives can contain tangible morpheme or may not contain, but of adverbs they all don’t contain adverbial morpheme.Among all the words,the most distinctive are the cultural words, not only for it’s large amount, but also for it’s meaning coverage.Most of them are sacrifice words.As to characteristic, verbs are the most.Most of two sallyble words came from phrases,but its lexicalization also have certain conditions.Based on the above investigation,we found that in order to turn into words, the predicates of phrases must be weaken and the objects must be obscured.As a result of the existence of metonymy and metaphor mechanism, make the condition became reality.In NanQi shu, many of two sallyble predicate-object structures used these two methods to turn into words.The lexicalization of predicate-object structure is the result of language internal factors and external factors,which affect at the same time.
