With the advancement of global integration and the increasing influence of China's international influence, the "Chinese Popular" continues to heat up in the global context. The number of people who choose to learn Chinese has increased year by year. The number of international students coming to China is also growing. In Asia,Thailand's Chinese education is the most prosperous and Thailand has created a miracle of Chinese language development in a short period of time. The number of Thai students studying in China in 2016 is nearly five times that of 2006.Under the premise of the royal family and the government in Thailand, the Chinese Hanban actively provided strong support so that Chinese has already developed into a second language that is second only to English. At present,a large part of research on Chinese language learning in Thai students is about Chinese learning methods and Chinese learning motivation. There are fewer studies on Thai students from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. Therefore, based on this phenomenon, this paper first analyzes the reasons why Thai students choose to study Chinese in China, and concludes that the reasons for Thai students studying in China can be roughly divided into:Personal interests,Actual needs,Policy support, and Language environment requirements.Secondly,it explains the situation of Thai students studying in China.Through the graphical form, the image shows the changes of Thai students' studying abroad.According to the country ranking, the number of Thai students studying in China has been ranked in the top three for three consecutive years. This paper selected five Thailand students from Minzu University of China as an example, and collect the social media content released by five international students during their stay in China as a corpus. Then wrote and summarized the life stories of the five overseas students and recorded the five students' cross-cultural communication process. There are significant or specific moments that affect their Chinese learning. At the same time, questionnaire surveys and interviews were carried out to conduct surveys and studies on Thai students' cross-cultural communication. The questions that they may encounter when they come to study cross-cultural communication in China are divided into two parts:language communication and non-verbal communication. The constraints of language communication are divided into language challenge and pragmatic challenge. The language challenge consists of sound, rhyme, tone, and eroticism. The pragmatic challenge consists of appellation, greeting, and farewell language. The restricted factors of non-verbal communication consist of body language,sub-language,object language, and environmental language. At the same time,it summarizes the factors affecting the cross-cultural communication of international students, and draws out the values, thinking patterns, cultural trends and natural environment in the social environment;the individual differences of foreign students, such as Chinese proficiency, individual differences, and acceptance of different cultures; The teaching content, teaching methods, and classroom environment in the factors will have an impact on the cross-cultural communication of foreign students. In the end, suggestions were made for Thai students, teachers of Chinese as a foreign language, and management of overseas students to further help students improve their intercultural communication skills and minimize the occurrence of cross-cultural communication problems.
