Scholars Are Addicted To Gold And Stone, And They Should Say Weng Huang

In the Qing dynasty,the period of Qian-jia was a time of great prosperity in Chinese culture and art,which produced the famous of Qian-jia scholars.Among the scholars of this period,Weng fanggang and Huang yi achieved remarkable achievements and became famous scholars both of them.Although they had great differences in age,fame and career,and there was no life and work in the same area,but this didn't hind the communication between them,because they both had the tendency in painting,calligraphy and sinitic epigraphy,eventually they became best friends.In the books of Weng fanggang wrote,such as “Fuchuzhai Works” and “Fuchuzhai Poems”,we can see the name of Huang yi who appeared frequently,these were records of his contact with Huang Yi in their academic communication.At present,the case studies of these two scholars have been further developed,such as Mr.Shen jin's case study on Weng fanggang,and Mr.Yang guodong's case study on Huang yi.However,there are few studies on the academic communications of Qian-jia scholars,so that we can't clear the details of the academic communication among those scholars today,that's the significance of this study.This study started with two scholars' background analysis,and compared with some other scholars who were in the same relationship.Finally,it was concluded that academic communication between Huang yi and Weng fanggang was the best model for the tour among Qian-jia scholars,it also had a certain influence on the calligraphy of the Qing dynasty and the scholars of the later generations.In terms of innovation,this study used the original data from the books of Huang yi and Weng fanggang wrote,such as “Fuchuzhai Works”,“Fuchuzhai Poems” and“Qiu-an Posthumous Manuscript”,and also made a chronology of the two scholars,detailed the details of their communication.On the basis of this,the author sorted out the productions' names,numbers and methods of their communication in calligraphy,painting and sinitic epigraphy.In addition,the author also compared them with scholars who communicated with each other during the same period(such as zhang yanchang,Guifu,Luo ping,etc.).
