In recent years, the packaging industry has developed rapidly. The excellent, novel, and temperature-containing packing has emerged in an endless stream. In the fierce market competition, the function of packaging has evolved from a simple "protection of goods" to a new element of "bearing sales mission."However, modern packaging has problems such as poor packaging, rough design, excessive packaging, etc. The reason for the problem lies in the driving of interests. The merchants make a big fuss on the packaging, and they design based on elements such as color and pattern. However, cluttered accumulation and unintentional choices lead to a lack of creativity in modern packaging design. For designers, modern packaging design needs to analyze the relevant laws of visual perception. It is necessary to grasp the potential laws of packaging design and form correct design theories and guiding methods to effectively guide the whole process of packaging design.Through in-depth research, not only can the theme of the product be combined with the business concept of the enterprise, the purpose of selling the goods can be achieved, and the level of packaging design can reach a certain height, which is beyond the level of commercial promotion, and finally forms a visual art work. This paper extracts the holistic, simplified and selective laws of the visual perception law.Through the analysis of a large number of excellent works, the profound theories are easily displayed in front of people, enabling designers to quickly analyze outstanding works. The laws implied and the flexibility to apply the theory to the design.Improve the key aspects of packaging design, such as shape, graphic image, color, etc.,and improve the packaging effect as a whole.
