Research On Language Translation Services For Sports Events

Language translation service for sports events is an indispensable part of the success of the event.With the increasing number of modern large-scale sports events,the scale of the competition schedule is becoming more and more complicated and huge.The language translation service of sports events is playing a more and more prominent role in sports events,and its participation field is continuously expanding.Therefore,the understanding of the role of language translation service in sports events is one of the important factors for the success or failure of modern sports events.Especially in large-scale international sports events,such as the Olympic Games and the Asian Games,the role of language translation services in sports events extends to all stages and aspects of sports events.At the same time,modern sports events require more and more language translation service workers.Sports event organizations,translation-related organizations and sports colleges and universities have shown a new understanding of language translation services for sports events.This makes the language translation service of sports events present complexity and diversity.Through the methods of literature review,logical analysis,field investigation,questionnaire survey,expert interview and case analysis,this paper takes the triathlon world cup as an example to analyze and study the current situation,classification,function,process,content,personnel composition and characteristics of the language translation service activities of domestic sports events,as well as the problems presented.Then it provides ideas and strategies for language translation service personnel training,industry construction and improvement of competition management in sports events,so as to provide well-run language translation service for sports events,make all links of sports events link up in an orderly way,and ensure the success of the event.Through research and analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:1.Modern sports originate from the West,and the research on sports events is far behind the western countries.As one of the important roles of sports events,language translation service for sports events started late in China and is still under constant exploration and research.At present,with the development of all social parties,more and more large-scale sports events are held in our country.However,the current language translation service for sports events does not match the development of sports events.The quality of language translation service personnel in sports events is mixed,and the quality of language translation service needs to be improved.The lack of language translation services for sports translation and the lack of adequate support for the development of sports events;In addition,the current training of language translation service personnel for sports events cannot meet the needs of sports events.This is also due to the characteristics of language translation services for sports events.2.As a special medium in sports events,the language translation service for sports events has its own characteristics.The target,language and content of the language translation service for sports events are complicated.The universality and uncertainty of the workplace;Professional and strict selection of personnel;Periodicity of language translation service and periodicity of expression.To some extent,these have brought difficulties to language translation services in sports events.3.From the perspective of the organizational structure and management system of sports events,the scope and fields involved are relatively wide.Also,at present,the research on sports events is still at the stage of learning from the western organization and management.Therefore,the organization and management of sports events should pay attention to the effective integration of resources in 12 fields.Strengthening humanistic management;Pay attention to strengthening the anti-risk ability of sports events.4.From the perspective of team industry construction of language translation service for sports events,establish industry mechanism and formulate industry development plan;Strengthen the construction of industry regulations and improve the evaluation mechanism;To promote the close combination of production and education and improve the training level.On the one hand,industry construction provides high-quality language translation service personnel for sports events;On the other hand,it manages and supervises the development of language translation services for sports events and guides their own good development.
