A Study Of Entertainment Folklore In Shanghai's Month Card During The Republic Of China

Shanghai clendar began in the end of the 19 th century,developed to its peak in the 1920 s and 1930 s,and declined in the 1940 s.Because of its unique form of expression,in the Republic of China advertising posters occupy an important position.In the period of the Republic of China,both the theme selection and the painting technique of Shanghai clendar reached a new peak.The content of the clendar paintings in this period not only reflected the real life of people at that time,but also recorded the changes of folk customs caused by the changes of social environment,so it is of great value to the study of Shanghai folk customs in the Republic of China.Entertainment is the spiritual need of people's life and existence.Many folk customs contain entertainment.Studying the entertainment folk customs in the bulletin board of Shanghai during the Republic of China is also one of the ways to understand the folk customs of Shanghai during the Republic of China.Therefore,this paper takes the entertainment folk customs embodied in the bulletin board of Shanghai in the Republic of China as a case study,and systematically discusses the entertainment folk customs embodied in the bulletin board of Shanghai in the republic of China from the three aspects of introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part discusses basic issues such as research objects,research significance and research methods,and summarizes relevant research results of the selected topic.The text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter,from the influence of the background and the functions of the calendar,in-depth exploration of the social reasons for the calendar and the expression of folk values.The second chapter,focusing on the entertainment folk customs in the calendar,sorts out the traditional entertainment and new entertainment modes in the calendar,and analyzes the reasons for the transformation of entertainment.The third chapter,the author focuses on the changes of entertainment folk-custom and its influence on people's life.The fourth chapter focuses on the integration of Chinese and western folk customs.Chinese and western folk customs have both integration and conflict.Byanalyzing the integration and conflict of folk customs at that time,this chapter links the current situation of folk customs and discusses the development of folk changes.The conclusion part focuses on the foreign scene and Shanghai style,the development of Shanghai folk customs in the Republic of China and the integration of Chinese and western folk customs.
