Calendar poster is an advertising poster that flourished in old Shanghai during the Republic of China.This form of advertising art,which combines aesthetic pleasure,calendar inquiry and commodity promotion,was once popular in Shanghai,and even in the whole country.Thus it became a wonderful flower in the history of Chinese advertising.It contains the humanistic connotation of an era of the Republic of China,and is now the urban intention and cultural symbol of Greater Shanghai.The cultural phenomenon of the Calendar poster shows the ideological awakening and power struggle under the regulation of women’s bodies by power,and also reflects the society’s gradual acceptance of women’s emancipation and status improvement.It can be said that the Calendar poster is a confession of women’s liberation in old China and a historical film of old Shanghai,which not only arouses people’s thinking about the status and value of women in the state,society and family,but also influences the aesthetics,consumption and life in that era,and promotes the commercial development and cultural progress of the city.The paper discusses the transformation and cultural mirroring of the female image of t the Calendar poster,deconstructs the cognitive awakening,self-transformation,and human liberation of the Republican women behind the moon sign,and analyzes the influence and revelation of the Calendar poster cultural phenomenon on feminism,commercial culture,and urban symbols in the present era through the creation of an independent documentary film.Based on communication science,sociology and image science,this paper uses Michel Foucault’s theory of right and body,employs documentary analysis methods such as image comparison,historical image reference and background data support,focusing on the political,economic and cultural characteristics of the times behind the transmutation of the female image of the Calendar poster,using film history film as the expression and narrative communication method,to dissect the issue of female body and ideological liberation in the Republic of China,to penetrate the social aesthetic psychology and female value perception at that time,and eventually it presents vividly the story behind the Calendar poster. |
