| During the period of the Republic of China,with the rapid development of commercial culture and the rise of advertising,calendar posters was born.Calendar posters mainly flourished after late Qing and early Republic of China.It describes and records most of the living conditions and environment in the period of the Republic of China from the side,especially the close-up copy of women,showing the basic necessities of life and living environment in the picture.The popularity of Chinoiserie culture encourages young people to be more and more interested in traditional excellent culture.As a representative of the specific culture of the Republic of China,calendar posters came into people’s vision.When it comes to the style of the Republic of China,it is inevitable to mention the female image in the calendar posters,whose clothing pattern on the dress is very stylized.Both traditional and new patterns are the results of careful design by painters and designers,and they all have their significance and value.On the basis of exploring the pattern of women’s dress of calendar posters,taking the female image of calendar posters as the research object,this paper will take women’s clothing patterns as samples to extract and analyze these patterns by means of design and graphics,summarize the theme,composition,organization form and color application of patterns,analyze the influencing factors of pattern changes and the inspiration to the application of modern illustration style of Republic of China.The deeper study of the calendar posters can systematically summarize the popular new Suit-dress decoration and the inheritance and development of traditional decoration in the Republic of China.Understanding the composition,organization form and color application of these decorative designs and analyzing their aesthetic changes can help to thoroughly analyze the changes of aesthetic and fashion elements at that time.It is hoped that this paper can be helpful for the deepen study of clothing patterns in the Republic of China,attracting more people to understand the clothing of women in the Republic of China,providing more detailed reference for the current pattern design and illustration pattern design of the style of the Republic of China,and also providing reference for my pattern design works. |
