As far as public art education in colleges and universities is concerned,it is not only the last stop of school art education,but also the summary and sublimation of students'12-year school art learning.With the development of The Times and the rapid development of science and technology,art itself has become complex and diverse across various disciplines.Subsequently,the function and concept of public art education in colleges and universities are expanded.Art education aims at improving individual's aesthetic ability and humanistic accomplishment,and at the same time,it also points to the cultivation of advanced cognitive ability,creative thinking,lifestyle and so on.The public art courses of colleges and universities,which used to be based on the knowledge of art discipline,can no longer meet the needs of the era and students.In addition,the introduction of interdisciplinary concepts and practices conforms to the law of art's own development.It can also break the rigid situation of the present public art courses in colleges and universities,help students realize the integration of art learning with personal experience and social experience,and realize the lifelong influence of art educatioin on people.In this thesis,it is divided into the following parts:The first is to analyze the current situation,understand the learning expectations of contemporary students for public art courses in colleges and universities,and analyze the easibility of interdisciplinary courses of public art.The second is to find the theoretical basis for the interdisciplinary courses of public art in colleges and universities from the perspectives of psychology,pedagogy,currculun and visual culture.The third is to study and explain the specific characteristics,how to realize the interdisciplinary course,the course type and the specific course design elements of the interdisciplinary course of public art in colleges and universities.The fourth is to present the specific features of the interdisciplinary courses of public art in colleges and universities through specific teaching cases.Public art education in colleges and universities has been paid more and more attention by the social from all walks of life.In this study,the purpose is to provide rclerence for the current and future reform of public art courses in colleges and universities.
