| With the increase of China’s international influence,learning Chinese and Chinese culture has been growing in popularity,as it has become a trend among foreigners for interest and business opportunities.As an important carrier of Chinese culture,Chinese talent can be a visual way to present Chinese culture;meanwhile,the introduction of Chinese talent in the language teaching process is considered a new method to enhance the teaching effect.At present,various Chinese talent courses have been introduced in lots of Confucius Institutes;many educators are focusing on how to effectively disseminate Chinese culture through talent teaching.Driven by the tendency of globalization and the integration of different culture,to disseminate national culture has become a common pursuit in the process of language teaching for foreigners in a number of countries.Language is the carrier of culture;culture learning cannot be separated from language teaching.The introduction of Chinese talent classes could play an important role in Chinese language teaching for the sake of enhancing the motivation and enjoyment of foreign students.This paper takes Qingdao University as the research object,and investigates the effect of their Chinese talent courses by means of questionnaires and interviews.The data finds lots of success in the curriculum setting,but also some problems including the shortage of faculty,the lack of systematicness and deficiencies in teaching materials.The paper firstly overviews the current situation of Chinese talent classes for foreigners in Qingdao University,analyzes the real effect of these classes using the method of questionnaire and lastly tries to provide suggestions and solutions regarding the problems currently existing in Chinese talent classes. |
