This report is a summary of the writer's practice of interpretation in the 25 th China International Advertising Festival.In this report,the escort interpretation in which the writer participated is the object of discussion.It analyzes the live recordings,classifies the difficulties in the interpretation,and explores the interpretation strategies based on the interpretation theory,including dealing with the translation of professional terms by literal translation and amplification;dealing with the translation of culture-loaded words by free translation and amplification;dealing with the translation of difficult and long sentences by omission and amplification.Through the detailed analysis of this practice,the writer hopes to accumulate interpretation skills and improve interpretation so as to provide reference for interpreters engaged in the advertising exhibition industry.
