Along with China's growing national strength,overseas Chinese education has increasingly prospered,and so the demand for Chinese teachers has increased too.The‘Chinese education'major,which is mainly for overseas Chinese enrollment,has emerged at this historic moment,and is intended to cultivate native Chinese-language teachers to provide high-quality and education in overseas Chinese schools.Therefore,research on the 'Chinese education' major has strong practical value and a forward-looking significance.However,the current domestic research on the 'Chinese education' major is generally small,and mainly involves research on student learning motivation,setting curriculums,teacher skills,teacher quality,etc.However,comprehensive research on the training method of the Chinese-language education specialty is relatively rare,so there are many problems in this field that deserve further investigation;more detailed and intricate investigations are needed.This study takes 81 Chinese teachers who have returned to their homeland after graduating from the major of Chinese Education course at Huaqiao University,and analyzes the data obtained through questionnaire surveys and individual in-depth interviews to gain a more precise understanding of the training of Huaqiao University's Chinese Education majors.The paper also shows the characteristics and problems of the training methods of the major in the university,and puts forward relevant suggestions.The main body of the thesis consists of five chapters.The chapter one is an introduction,which introduces the basis of the study,the significance of the topic selection,the related research-literature review,current research results and deficiencies,and then introduces the main content and main methods of this study.The chapter two is the survey and design of the training method of the Chinese Education course of Huaqiao University,including an analysis of the professional training,the design of the questionnaire,and the analysis of the basic-situation of the survey subjects.The detailed analysis of the survey data is divided into four aspects:Chinese knowledge cultivation,professional knowledge cultivation,teacher quality cultivation,and teaching ability cultivation.Chapter Four summarizes the characteristics and problems of the Chinese-language education specialty training methods of Huaqiao University,and gives further suggestions.Chapter five is the conclusion,including a summary of innovations and deficiencies etc.Through this investigation and research,the study draws the following conclusions:firstly,the training method of Chinese-language education of Huaqiao University is generally reasonable,and the curriculum setting meets the needs of students at a basic level;the students'demand for professional knowledge and professional ability development is changed.Among them,the demand for teaching practice and cultural practice is particularly strong.In response to the above two points,Huaqiao University should strive to further improve the quality of Chinese language teachers by adjusting the curriculum,enriching teaching content and teaching styles,paying attention to the feedback of alumni,and by enhancing teaching practices.The contribution this study makes was achieved by taking the Chinese-language education specialty of Huaqiao University as the research object to understand the training situation of the university in depth-a new topic.All The survey subjects are Chinese teachers who have returned to their homeland with Chinese-teaching experience.Therefore,the survey data and interview feedback are pertinent,clear,authentic,and persuasive.and the research content is more comprehensive It not only studies the Chinese-based and professional knowledge training of the major in Huaqiao University,but also studies quality and ability cultivation in teachers.
