Culture-loaded terms are the most culturally distinctive and connotative vocabulary in Chinese.It reflects obvious cultural characteristics of Han nationality in Chinese history and society.The difference between culture-loaded terms with common words is that it is impossible to find completely equal words in other languages,especially metaphorical culture-loaded terms with symbolism and associative meaning.These terms have their real significance and unique cultural connotation.Studying these words learn not only the language but also the Chinese cultures.Therefore,Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language academia should pay more attention to metaphorical culture-loaded terms with culture connotation.For Chinese learners,if merely comprehend the conceptual meaning of culture-loaded terms,they can only have abilities to do simple communication.Chinese learners need to learn these culture-loaded terms for further communication.It can state that metaphorical culture-loaded term is the indispensable part in Chinese learning.Vocabulary teaching process should pay more attention to metaphorical culture-loaded terms.This thesis examines the common features of metaphorical words in Developing Chinese(Advanced Comprehensive Course)and The New HSK Vocabulary Outline.The metaphorical culture-loaded terms are classified into plant kinds,animal kinds,color kinds,digital kinds,and other kinds.Master the poor types and design instruction.Taking foreign students at the advanced stage as the survey object,learn their current status of learning metaphorical culture-loaded terms through questionnaire surveys,analyze the relevant data obtained from the survey,and understand the mistakes made by foreign students in the acquisition of metaphorical culture-loaded terms.From the perspective of foreign students and teachers,respectively Proceed with suggestions on learning and teaching of metaphorical culture-loaded terms.The full thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research purpose and significance of this thesis,the research content and methods,the related research status and the innovation of the paper.The second part is the definition,classification and investigation of metaphoricalculture-loaded terms.Examine the metaphorical culture-loaded terms appearing in the textbooks Developing Chinese(Advanced Comprehensive Course)and The New HSK Vocabulary Outline and summarize them.In the third part,the questionnaire is used to investigate and analyze the status of foreign students' acquisition of metaphorical culture-loaded terms.By elaborating on the design of the questionnaire and analyzing the questionnaire,it provides suggestions for foreign students' learning of metaphorical culture-loaded terms and teachers' teaching of metaphorical culture-loaded terms.The fourth part attempts to increase the teaching of metaphorical culture-loaded terms in comprehensive courses based on the mastery of metaphorical culture-loaded terms by foreign students,hoping to provide valuable reference for the practice of metaphorical culture-loaded terms in international Chinese education.Finally,the conclusion of this thesis.The research results,research limitations and deficiencies of this paper are summarized.
