Research On The Elderly Care Problems In Rural Left-behind Elderly In Lankao County, Henan Provinc

After the reform and opening up,the process of national industrialization and urbanization has been accelerated,a large number of rural young and young people are transferred to the city,and it is difficult to completely break the long-term urban and rural two yuan structure system and the limited economic level in rural areas,resulting in a large number of elderly people who have to stay in the rural life.In recent years,the number and scale of the elderly in rural areas in China are increasing,but there is no perfect social security system in our country,so the problem of the elderly in rural areas is becoming more and more prominent.It is of great significance to solve the problems faced by the old people who are left behind and whether the old people in rural areas can live a happy life in their late years and the stable development of the rural society in our country.By means of questionnaire,field interview,case investigation and quantitative analysis,this paper makes a field survey on the rural left behind elderly in Lankao County of Henan Province,and deeply understands its basic situation.This paper first introduces the basic situation of the old people left behind in Lankao County of Henan Province: the status of the population age,the state of the economy,the state of the body,the content of leisure life and the mental state,and so on.On the basis of this data,it is concluded that the size of the elderly in rural areas is expanding,family pension is the main old-age mode,the economy is mainly derived from children,poor physical condition and monotonous mental life.Then we found that the rural left behind old people are difficult to see the doctor,the pension is not in place,and the mental life is empty,and the reasons for the difficulties are found out in the rural areas of Lankao County: the rural economic poverty,the lack of rural medical and health resources,and the serious shortage of the government in providing old-age support services.At last,according to the actual needs of the old people left behind in Lankao County,the government,the family and the old people,putting forward the viability of the proposal of strengthening the government support service,strengthening the construction of the pension institutions,strengthening the function of the family endowment,carrying forward the fine traditional culture,strengthening the old people’s legal awareness,and further enriching the spiritual life of the elderly.
