In the poverty alleviation process in China,it is the fundamental way to enhance rural population's overall quality and enable them to acquire corresponding skills,which finally help them get out of poverty.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the poverty alleviation for rural schools in order to relieve poverty in these regions.Our government has been carrying out poverty alleviation for rural schools over the years,but a series of problems exist,such as focus on the material poverty alleviation but neglect of the spiritual poverty alleviation,poor accuracy in poverty alleviation and lack of social support.In addition,it is also lack of grass-roots poverty alleviation agencies and improved governance mechanisms.A complete education system is composed of education in schools,family education and social education,therefore,the government should combine their efforts to finally improve the education level in poor rural areas.A Town in Jimo is taken as an example in this research,questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation are used for the deep analysis of the development of rural schools,status quo of the government's poverty alleviation as well as the problems and causes of backward education level.Based on the systematical analysis of how to further strengthen the government's role in poverty alleviation in rural schools,the policies of the developed countries' practice in poverty alleviation about education can also be as references.Finally,suggestions for how to strengthen the role of the government in poverty alleviation in rural schools are proposed.Only by continuously deepening government responsibilities to focus on human capital investment can fundamentally improve backward educational concepts in rural areas.Reasonable balance between urban and rural education resources can improve the education level in rural schools.In addition,it is necessary to encourage social forces' participation while strengthening the government's leading role in poverty alleviation in rural schools.Efforts to increase the precision of poverty alleviation and improve the supervision system for poverty alleviation are also essential.
