In 2019,in the notice on the implementation plan of national vocational education reform issued by the State Council,it is pointed out for the first time that "vocational education and general education are two different types of education,which have the same important status." It affirms the important position of Vocational Education in the education system and corrects the social prejudice that the level of vocational education is low.The National Program for Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development(2010-2020)proposes to "improve the quality of vocational education and reflect the concept of lifelong education".It is clear that vocational education should cultivate students' concept of lifelong learning and awareness of active learning.In 2020,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the implementation plan(2020-2035)for the construction of a society ruled by law.In the middle of the plan,it is proposed to "strengthen the legal education of young people,comprehensively implement the legal education of young people,and integrate the legal education into the national education system."Because the secondary vocational school students are an important part of the youth group,it is very important to improve the quality of the rule of law education in secondary vocational education and cultivate the students' legal concept and active learning consciousness.However,most of the secondary vocational students do not have the consciousness and habit of studying,and the concept of rule of law is relatively weak.Therefore,exploring how to stimulate the students to learn the law has become a problem that we should pay attention to.Secondary vocational students as the "score only" under the entrance environment of the "loser",exam-oriented education and terminal evaluation based on the traditional teaching,obviously has not been suitable for secondary vocational students learning requirements.The advantage of formative evaluation lies in that it can pay attention to students' daily behavior and learning process,respect students' subjectivity and initiative,and is conducive to cultivating students' learning initiative and stimulating and cultivating secondary vocational students' learning motivation.Therefore,the research focus of this paper is to explore the influence of formative evaluation on the motivation of secondary vocational students to learn law,and put forward suggestions for the problems in teaching.In the first part,this paper introduces the background of the problem,the research status of formative evaluation,the research status of learning motivation and the research status of formative evaluation promoting learning motivation,and the research methods and significance of this paper;The second part introduces the concept and theoretical basis of formative evaluation and learning motivation;The third part is the practical basis and method of formative evaluation applied in the law course of secondary vocational schools;The fourth part is the design of the questionnaire and the reliability and validity of the test,the students' learning motivation of the pretest,the teaching application of the secondary vocational law course;The fifth part is the conclusion and suggestion.Through practice and research,this paper concludes that the application of formative evaluation in law teaching in secondary vocational schools can obviously promote students' learning motivation.In view of the problems found in the formative evaluation,this paper puts forward some suggestions,such as paying attention to the exertion of teachers' authority,providing timely feedback and optimizing teaching methods.
