With the rapid development of China's economy and society,people's demand for service-oriented government continues to rise.How to improve the work efficiency of government departments through performance evaluation and better adapt to the complex changes of economy and society is the key and difficult work that China's public departments attach great importance to.In practice,due to the deficiencies in performance evaluation methods of some public sectors,performance evaluation cannot play its due role effectively and service efficiency cannot be effectively improved,which to some extent reduces the credibility and cohesion of government departments.Therefore,in order to improve the quality of public service and optimize the performance evaluation system,it is extremely urgent to study the performance evaluation.China's performance evaluation research is deepening,but because of the late start,is still in the primary stage,and compared with foreign countries,domestic performance evaluation research is mostly applied to enterprises.With the advancement of administrative system reform,performance evaluation has been gradually introduced by government departments,and scholars have paid more and more attention to the research on performance evaluation indicators.Based on YZ city government departments as the research object,this paper use the public management,performance evaluation,and other fields of relevant academic theory,through case analysis,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey and other research methods,refer to YZ,file,data,information about the history of the performance evaluation and the questionnaire survey was conducted on the municipal authority units,obtain first-hand research data.In YZ city govermment department performance evaluation rules,processes,and implementation of the present situation analysis,found the YZ existing in the performance evaluation system of the municipal government departments satisfaction assessment form,performance evaluation to promote difficult performance evaluation methods,evaluation process takes long,complicated,owe the allocation of index weight,innovation is not strong,etc,and an analysis of the causes problems.On this basis,the paper compares the performance evaluation practices of local government departments at home and abroad,draws on the successful experience of local government departments at home and abroad,and proposes to strengthen publicity and training to improve the ideological understanding of performance evaluation.Strengthening the construction of performance evaluation system and standardizing the formulation of performance evaluation indicators;Play the role of supervision and strengthen the process management of performance evaluation;Strengthen the linkage of departments and improve the basic supporting work;Refine indicators,highlight key points,and appropriately reduce the weight of satisfaction;Six feasible Suggestions for optimizing the performance evaluation of YZ municipal government departments,including introducing performance evaluation talents and reducing the loss of talent flow,are expected to optimize the functions of government departments,promote the improvement of efficiency,and finally improve the satisfaction of the masses,which can provide certain reference value and significance for the development of performance evaluation in other regions.
