An Analysis Of The Supply And Demand Of Community Home Care Services For Retirees From Colleges And Universities In Shaanxi Province

The aging of the population is one of the common tasks faced by the whole world,which is also the key national circumstances throughout our 21 st century.Under the background of the increasingly serious aging problem in China,the aging of population in Shaanxi Province is without exception,especially for the retired college staff in Shaanxi province,which is more serious.Under the same conditions,university retirees have the characteristics of wider age distribution,higher economic income and a better education,which determine their higher-qualified and more diversified demand for community home care services.However,for a long time,the construction of old-aged service system in China has not been perfect and sound,leading to its old-age security model still stagnant in the traditional home care,and thus the main role of the market and social organizations can't be effectively developed,which is not adapted to the modern old-age service system.In order to understand and master the present situation of supply and demand of home care service for university retirees,the author made a study on the age structure,economic income,household expenditure of the university retirees in X university in Shaanxi Province,and the service requirements of community home pension are analyzed in depth.On this basis,the author applied professional theoretical knowledge,such as Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,social support theory and welfare diversification theory,to make a comprehensive analysis of the supply and demand of community home care services for university retires.Based on the results of the above analysis,the author focus on the positive aging theory to solve the problem of modern old-age service system and old-age security service,and from these four aspects,such as the transformation of government functions,rational allocation of resources,the building of strengthen team and the change of the traditional concept,puts forward some measures and suggestions to solve the imbalance between the supply and demand of pension services for retirees in the community of university retires.
