Research On The Collaborative Relationship Between China And The International Criminal Police Organization

International police cooperation refers to the law enforcement actions of police agencies of different countries to help and cooperate with each other in the prevention of transnational crimes and the maintenance of the normal order of the international community under the domestic laws and the international treaties.With the increasing openness of the international community and the increasing frequency of cross-border trade and exchanges,cross-border crimes are also increasing.International police cooperation has become particularly common and important.Interpol,which takes preventing and combating international criminal crimes as its own duty,has rich experience and a long history in coordinating police cooperation among member countries.Studying the relationship between China and INTERPOL has long-term guiding significance for China to carry out good international police cooperation at present and in the future.This article reviews the history of Interpol by combing its current operation mode and characteristics.At the same time,through the analysis and comparison of several cases in which other countries and China use INTERPOL to carry out police cooperation,a series of problems such as the difference of police system,the lack of special laws and regulations on international criminal cooperation,and the delay in the conclusion of extradition treaties between China and INTERPOL have been comprehensively observed,and how China should establish and perfect the cooperative relationship with INTERPOL has been further discussed.Through the case study,aiming at the various obstacles existing in China's previous and current international police cooperation,this paper puts forward feasible suggestions and countermeasures such as reforming the police system,improve domestic laws,concluding bilateral or multilateral treaties and constructing alternative measures for extradition,and looks forward to the future development of cooperation between China and INTERPOL.
