In recent years,rural tourism,as a special new industry,has developed rapidly.It is one of the important ways to realize the transformation and comprehensive,rapid and healthy development of China's rural economy in the new era,and can effectively promote the process of urban-rural integration and promote the development of rural economy.However,in the actual development of rural tourism,a series of problems such as ecological environment destruction and natural resource consumption are caused by the ineffective government functions,so it is necessary to effectively play the role of government functions to promote the healthy and sustainable development of rural tourism.Paper selected the literature research,comparative analysis and social survey research methods,after the analysis of a large number of relevant literature,from the theory of"service-oriented government,and the theory of sustainable development perspective,will establish the functions of the government in the development of Tonghua county rural tourism for the specific research object,and through the rural tourism development at home and abroad advanced experience for reference,combining the Tonghua county rural tourism development present situation,proposed the Tonghua county government functions to perform in the rural tourism development,there is lack of overall planning,inadequate funding,public service supply level is not high,market regulation,a problem such as analysis of the cause of these problems at the same time The reason is that the county governments have no in-depth understanding of the rural tourism industry,lack of economic impetus for development,lack of talent supply,and the government management system is not sound,which affects the effective play of government functions and hinders the further development of rural tourism.Through the research,in order to better promote the sustainable development of rural tourism in Tonghua county and effectively play the functions of county-level government,the paper believes that in the future development of rural tourism,county-level governmentshould perform relevant functions from the following aspects: Second,step up cooperation to attract investment from social capital.Third,strengthen the efficiency of government service and improve the level of public service supply;Fourth,improve the management system and optimize the development environment.
