Research On Government Supervision Of The Safety Management Of Dried Seafood

Food is a necessity of people's life,and its safety is an important prerequisite for public health.Therefore,similarly to the safety of life and property,food safety is one of government's responsibility.The city council of R has always been serious in such matter and relevant government agencies have tried in multiple ways to keep food security in the dry seafood market.However,the results of these supervisions are still disappointing and unable to meet the expectation of people and the local government.Up to now,many research on safety management of dry seafood focuses on economics,biology,engineering,while other fields as the public administration is not much involved.Therefore,comprehensive improvement and the profound discussion of safety management of dry seafood is the only way to achieve the full coverage of the cultivation,fishing,production,sales,consumption and other links of dried seafood supervision,and building of the closely-matched governments.This paper aims to study the government supervision of dry seafood safety in R city to ensure that the public can eat good-quality and safe dried seafood,which has great meaning both in theory and reality.There are four goals of this paper which focuses on the dry seafood market in R and employs literature analysis,comparative study and field investigation.First of all,the theoretic model is built according to safety problem analysis of government supervision;secondly,a series of problems existing in dry seafood safety supervision is explained by analyzing the current situation of government supervision of dry seafood safety in R city;thirdly,the comparative method is taken,which learning from the advanced experiences over the world from multiple angles such as the legal system,supervision system,supervision mechanism,and risk assessment.Finally,policies and advice on government supervision of dry seafood safety in R city are proposed to improve the efficiency of government security supervision in the market.That is,paying attention to government supervision reform,strengthening security management system,enhancing the ability of government supervision,improving supervision and support system of the government,perfecting the mechanism of government supervision and allocation,of dry seafood safety management.Eventually,the content in this paper is hoped to help build the closed-matched government,strengthen supervision in the whole process,by integrating supervision platforms and tightening market access and controlling product quality,to make consumers feel confidence and safe while they are buying dry seafood in the local market.
