Advertisements, enjoy the fame of being one of the greatest achievement in20thcentury, have already occupied the attention of citizens, kept on expending its scope toinlfuence the society, and gradually became one of the most important channels for us tolearn cultural norm, Daniel Bell once said:"Do not expect to understand the modernpopular writers if you didn't know about Ads' techniques". Since the adolescents havemore opportunities to see or to contact the modern Ads (according to the investigation,75%of the teenagers express that they could get in touch with them everyday and only lessthan5%of the middle school students think they seldom have the chance to contact theAds)? we should use them artfully as a path that links the Chinese teaching and the reallife, and make Ads serve and perfect our teaching.The application of the language of advertisements into Chinese teaching is a brandnew task based on the high-speed advancement of mass media. This new orientationcorresponds with the features of this era and conforms to the heading of modern Chineseeducation. In this text, I discuss upon the theme I have mentioned above into three parts. Inthe ifrst part,1simply introduce the specialties of languages of modern advertisements,here I project that they have both the diversity and the emotionality. In the second chapter,I emphases the actual effect we would receive atfer using the language of ads into theChinese teaching, and1demonstrate this idea on three fields: the rudiments of Chineselearning which including the mastery of the new words, the grammar or the rhetoricalstrategies; the cultivation of ability on using language as a tool which contain the capacityof grasping the main information and the capability of adapt the divergent thinking; theimplement of the moral and aesthetic appreciation about the Chinese teaching. In the thirdpart, first I will birng forward the unprecedented results that we would acquire, and ifnally,I will offer some reasonable suggestions about the problems such as: how to make the classgo on wheels with the introduce of ads, how to collect the effective materials, and where isthe perfect point to impetrate the language of ads into Chinese teaching, eta.In this paper, I make use of teaching theory, linguistics, knowledge of advertisements,and massive examples of modern advertisements. I've tired my best to tap the actionabilityof introduce the language of ads into Chinese teaching. Since the language of ads is onlythe one kind of social language which could offer thousands kinds of professional languageas mateirals of language teaching, all I wish is to afford a new model of thinking, and tomake us, all the Chinese teachers, realize the Chinese is an all-round knowledge, and wecould boost it onto a whole new level.
