"Small paper" is a new type of question that appeared in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination in recent years.It appears in the examination paper with open questions,which can examine students' grasp of the basic knowledge about history and the ability for students to analyze,understand and apply historical knowledge comprehensively.The "small paper" has attracted the attention of all walks of life in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination,so it has become the "hot topic" in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination.This article focuses on the seven "small papers" that appeared in the history of the Jiangsu college entrance examination in order to discuss the problems that exist and take the appropriate measures that make the "small paper" more benefit for teachers and students and the needs for the college entrance examination.Based on a summary for the "small paper" in the history of Jiangsu examination,this article designs a questionnaire for the use of "small paper" in teaching and explores the teaching and writing of "small papers" in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination by teachers and students.It's mainly analyze the use of the "small paper" in history class and the situation for students writing "small paper" in the history of the Jiangsu college entrance examination and offer some alternative suggestions for "small paper" that in the history of the college entrance examination.According to the investigation,this article found that some teachers didn't pay much attention to the teaching of "small paper",many of them took "small paper" into review lessons after it appeared in Jiangsu college entrance examination;Many teachers believed that the "small paper" in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination has more difficulty than students'ability to learn history,which brought some problems for teachers' teaching and students'answering in terms of materials,questions or the setting of answers.There were no clear answers,no emphasis for answers,irrelevant answer,inconsistency and unreasonable number of words when they wrote "small papers" in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination for students.To solve the problems arising from the questionnaire,this article puts forward the correspond suggestions from methods for teachers' teaching,students' answering skills and making examination.teachers can improve the teaching effect by collecting and organizing the"small paper" in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination and strengthening the application of them in the course of teaching.Students should establish the basic steps of answering questions through examining the topic,making a point,argument and conclusion.In the process of answering the questions,students should pay attention to the details of "small papers" concluding word count control,text modification and writing,which can improve the quality of students' question.Finally,the "small paper" needs to consider overall level of Jiangsu students,showing regional characteristics in materials,increasing picture reading,reducing technical term appropriately,separating questions and providing a typical case that make "small paper" in the history of Jiangsu college entrance examination more reasonable and whole.
