Since the 21st century,the reform of history curriculum has emphasized the innovation of teaching activities and the enrichment of teaching contents.It has been emphasized that teachers should set up the concept of "big textbooks" and "people-oriented".But under the"baton" of college entrance examination,history teaching is still a traditional teaching with teaching materials as the center and teachers as the main body.In recent years,the application of new materials in college entrance examination questions has been increasing,which makes the examination questions more difficult.The Ministry of Education proposed in the 2017 New Senior High School History Curriculum Standard to cultivate students' history core literacy,which makes senior high school history teaching face many new requirements.Under the background of knowledge economy,the high school history teaching should increase the application of history extracurricular reading materials,guide students to attach importance to history extracurricular reading materials,cultivate interest and problem consciousness of learning history,and cultivate the core accomplishment of the subject.The full text is divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.In the introduction,it mainly discusses the reason and significance of the topic,the present research situation,the research ideas and methods,the innovation and deficiency.The text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter defines and classifies the extracurricular reading materials in senior high school,and expounds the significance of extra-curricular reading materials in the application of senior high school history teaching.The second chapter takes Yangzhou D Middle School as an example to carry out a questionnaire survey and case study.Interviews with history teachers to understand the application of extracurricular reading materials in senior high school history teaching,through the collation and analysis of questionnaire data,as well as interviews with history teachers,The main problems in the application of history extracurricular reading materials are summarized as follows:less reading by teachers and students,insufficient attention to history extracurricular reading materials,insufficient application of history extracurricular reading materials by teachers,and lack of guidance to students in reading history extracurricular reading materials.The causes of these problems are analyzed.The third chapter mainly aims at the current high school history extracurricular reading material application existence question,proposed the corresponding solution countermeasure.Teachers should do a good job of after-class guidance,students should also correct attitude,and in the application should follow the principle of teachers as the main body,master and sequence,development and exploration combined principles.The specific methods are to develop the teaching activities of reading history extracurricular reading materials under the guidance of teachers,to improve students'reading ability;to use summer and winter reading history extracurricular reading materials,to adopt different homework forms;to establish various evaluation methods,To strengthen students' attention to history extracurricular reading materials and to solve the difficulties in the teaching application of history extracurricular reading materials in senior high school.The conclusion part mainly summarizes the text and gives some thoughts on the proposed strategies,How to make better use of history extracurricular reading materials to improve the quality of history class and stimulate student defined interest in learning history.
